That Girl

POV's

As we pulled out of my Dad's place Brock called. I ignored it. I don't have time to be put down more by him. Its just not the time to be down, plus I'm actually having a blast. No worries...for now.

*20-30 minutes later*

We've reached our destination, the mall. Woah, was this place thick. First off we went into get some Starbucks when Brock called Jared. I over heard Jared a little saying "No Brock, don't come here. Stay there on the beach. I don't want you hurting Mia more. Bruh, just chill with Nicole. Bye Brock."

"Let's get a move on before he comes here with Nicole. You know damn well that guy doesn't listen." Says Jared.

We didn't do any shopping, we strolled around the mall and then decided to head to the park. After that we all agreed to head back down to the beach and watch the sun set.

*Brock's POV*

What did I do wrong this time? Mia's mad at me, that's what I'm thinking. She can hold a grudge real well and pretty long. I did tell her I would make this day up, but she basically just agreed with me without hesitation.

Its been fifteen minutes and Nicole still isn't here. I understand Mia doesn't like her, I know some reasons why. Like, in kindergarten she stole Mia's first boyfriend and Nicole told her during one nap time Jace showed her his dick. Second, she told her that Jace would marry her. Third, in third grade Nicole also stole Mia's used to be boyfriend Chase. He broke up with Mia for Nick. Fourth, she did the same in fourth grade and pretended she was pregnant.

I get why Mia would not like her, but I don't understand why she doesn't like me going out with her.

I didn't see them leaving, so I called Mia... but she didn't answer. I called her about three to four times. I knew that would happen, her not picking up the phone, just staring at it. So then I decided to call Jared and he was mad at me too. Is it get mad at Brock day? He did answer though, I would have thought he'd have my back at this... he didn't.

I kind of figured everything was my fault choosing Nick over them, yet they came first and I was going to meet up with her tonight. I kind of figured she would want to hang out earlier, she's my girl though. I couldn't just diss her like that, although I did diss my friends for her. She is extremely late, she has me waiting at the entrance for her over an hour ago and yet she still isn't here. Unbelievable.

Look who decided to show up an hour or so late.

"Hey Baby, I'm sorry I'm so late. I was stuck in traffic and I had to get beautied up for you." Nicole said as fast as she could.

"Its okay, I understand."

"Where's Mia and them? I thought we were going to chill with them."

"Well, they went on ahead. They're at the mall, Jared said."

"Let's head there." She exclaimed.

"That's not a good idea. Let's just take a walk around here, its peaceful and calming."

"Umm... okay." Nicole said in confusion.

We walked on the board walk, hands held tight, walking as close as possible. I was happy, despite the fact that I had put myself down earlier. This frown turned around.

*5:30 p.m*

I should take her to Bonefish grill, she's probably hungry. Then we can go watch a movie.

.....

Dinner was okay, Nicole met her ex there with his girl. Derrick and Lacora. Nicole kept staring at him and he kept staring at her. Did they have something going on still? Wow. This is going to stick in my head all night. No wonder why I have been having doubts.

After all that I took her out to the movies, we watched Evil Dead. I wanted to watch a scary movie so when she gets scared she comes to me and I have my arms around her. Those are cute right?

She got terrified, but didn't come to me. That was a waste of hopes. I wonder what Mia, Jared, and Jessica are doing right now. I bet they're having a blast without me.. I had to use the bathroom real bad, I had told Nick where I was heading to, just in case she was wondering where I was heading to..

*Mia's POV*

We three just got done watching the sum set and we had fun at the park. It seemed too early for us, tomorrow's Monday. School. Ugh, what a waste of happy mood. Anyways, we decided to all watch Evil Dead since that we all loved scary movies. It seemed scary from the movie trailer.

Pulled up at Carmike Theater got our tickets, we were fifteen minutes early. Just in time. I went to order popcorn, candy and drinks while Jared and Jessica went on ahead.

Guess who I ran into while heading in? Yup, you guessed right; Brock. He bumped into me, luckily I didn't drop anything. Why does people always like bumping into me?

*Brock's POV*

Oh me oh my. I bumped into Mia on accident. I didn't know they were going to watch Evil Dead.

I apologized to her, "my bad Mia, I'm sorry about early too, I didn't mean for you and Jared to get mad at me for including Nick into our day, knowing I'll see her on our date."

She said, "Its fine, I get she's your girl friend now and you should be hanging out with her."

"So we're okay now?"

She smiled, "I guess so. Go get her tiger. She can't wait forever you know, she might think something's going on. Here give her this popcorn and drink and candy. I can always get more."

*Mia's POV*

Got damn. I forgot they were going to watch a movie, I didn't realize they were going to watch Evil Dead. Brock apologized and he meant it, I know when he means it or not. By that look on his eyes, it tears up. So cute.

I was being nice and gave him all the necessities I bought and I went back and got more. No biggy... I always forget to text or call Kiersten back, I checked my phone.

*7:30*

The movie doesn't start until 7:45, that means I have 15 more minutes. I thought it started at 7:30, thought wrong. So, I called Kiersten.

...

"Hello?"

"Hey, I sorry. I've been busy all day. What's up?"

"Its fine my dear, I have something to tell you..."

"Uh oh. Is it bad?"

"Not at all. I don't think."

"Tell me."

"I'M ON MY WAY DOWN THERE!"

"No way?! I can't wait!" I screamed in amazement, everybody looked at me like I was crazy.

"YES WAY. Can I stay at your place? Your dad wouldn't mind. Will he?

"Not one bit. I'll text you my address and I'll see you in a little bit, I'm at the movies with Jess."

"Text me it ASAP, I'll be down there in two hours or so. Alrighty, bye."

That girl made my day as always, oh no the movie is about to start, I have a the food.

As I walked in the theater Jessica met me at the door, "have you seen who's here?"

"Yeah, don't worry. You should stay at my place tonight after this, Kiersten is coming back." I said with a grin on my face.

"Yay! Can't wait. Slumber party time."
