My house is full of drunk people. I walk around my home, seeing people makeout and grind on each other like crazy.

"Dude Awsome party"
My best friend Shawn yells.
"Ya. I guess"
Shawn grabs my arm and leads me out the house.
"What the?.. Hey!?"

"You don't seem to be enjoying the party? What's wrong?"

"Its nothing. I just feel like somethings missing.."
"Missing? Like what?"

"I don't know. Go enjoy the party I'll be there in a few"

"Okay then. Nash? Try to enjoy the party. You look like a lost fucking duck"

I fake a smile and nod while Shawn leaves.

As I was just about to sit on the grass;
I see my new neighbor Cameron walking near me.
"Hey Cameron."
"Hey. I came to say sorry, I have to get back home and get things organized "
"Oh. Can I help?"
"Don't you wanna stay? It's your party"
"Nah. It's boring anyway."

"Ohkay then. Let's head to my place."

"Alright."

We head to Camerons place.
"I need to organize and unpack my stuff upstairs"

"Is this your study room? I can unpack these stuff if you want"
"Ya sure, I'll be in the next room unpacking"

I was helping Cameron setting things up for his new home. As I opened one of the boxes I realized it was full of books. Dang.

"You must read alot"
I casually try to create a conversation

"Oh.. Ugh.. Yup. Love reading"

Cameron sounded so freaking nervous
Was he embarrassed of reading or something?

"Nash, you should go. It's getting late.
Thanks for helping me unpack"

Oh.

"Ya. um, I should go, it is getting late
and school tomorrow"
"Thanks for the help. By the way..
Life is full of surprises"

"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You'll see soon"
"ohkay.."

"Thanks for the help"

"anytime"
I say as I walk out of Camerons house.

Well. That was awkward.
