A Change Of Heart (Hiccup x OC)

13. Twinsanity

"How are we supposed to see up here?" I heard Ruff yell to no one in particular.

I rolled my eyes. That was kinda the point of the whole exercise.

"You're not thats the whole point," Hiccup said in response and flew some where next to them.

I was sat on Storm and we were flying through the clouds, another dragon trust training exercise. I was doing good as well, Storm had good navigation because of her hearing. That was part of it though you had to trust your dragons to see for you.

"Oh... No I still don't get it," Tuff said.

"When you two cant see you have to trust Barf and Belch to see for you," Hiccup explained,"Like this."

Hiccup had probably flown off.

I flew further ahead and saw the tip of Stormfly's tail. And made Storm fly higher and turn up side down as I looked at the back of Astrid's head. I put my hands on her shoulder,"Hey Astrid!" I shouted to her and I heard her scream.

"Cas don't scare me like that!" She yelled back punching my shoulder.

"Ow!" I said in mock pain.

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

"How's things with Espen?" I asked.

She gave me an annoyed look and I chuckled.

"There fine. What about dragon boy?" She asked.

It was my turn to roll my eyes and her turn to chuckle.

"Fine we are just friends." I said she gave me a look that clearly said 'Oh please, like I'm going to believe that ' I huffed and said,"And I am happy with that thank you very much."

I heard a yell and I turned Storm around and ducked out of the clouds. I heard Astrid yell,"Yeah right Cas! Keep telling yourself that!". I rolled my eyes and huffed even though I knew she couldn't see me. I turned my attention back to the current situation at hand. I saw the twins and Fishlegs falling. I flew down to help and I saw Meatlug get the twins. I caught Fishlegs before he could fall as he was saying something to Hiccup.

"I'd have thought you would have got Fishlegs before talking Hiccup," I said.

He rolled his eyes.

"What was that all about any way?" I asked.

"Fishlegs has train Meatlug to do things with hand signals," Hiccup said enthusiastically. "I want to try it out in training next time."

"Okay," I said in response. I flew further ahead. Whistling to Storm as I did so. Astrid caught up with me and batted her eyelashes innocently saying,"Okay, my love." Mockingly.

I scoffed and said mockingly "Oh yes Espen please help me I am awfully stuck!"

"Shut up," She muttered.

I laughed.

We all met later on that day to practise.

I watched Hiccup as he showed us his. "Toothless battle ready," Hiccup said. He got into a position that made him look ready to battle. "Toothless, plasma blast Hiccup said and pointed to the ground he threw his shield up in the air and Toothless blasted it into flames. "Good job bud," Hiccup said in congratulation."Smile." He finished swiping a hand across his lips smiling. Toothless did some what of a smile and I smiled at this.

"Not bad..." Astrid said quietly.

"My turn," I said. "Storm, grab Tuff," I said and put my hands together in a clapping motion making no sound then crossing my fingers together. Making a sort of hedgehog shape with my hands. Storm grabbed Tuff with her tail. "Tail flick!" I commanded. And shook my hands. And she flicked Tuff into the air and he screamed. I whistled and clapped my hands and Storm caught Tuff placing him down on the ground.
