I, The Alpha

Chapter one

Running in the forest is the best feeling even more when your with friends.
I looked beside me and saw the big black wolf of my best friend Lucian.
I stopped
'What Eclipse?,' he asked
'Where's-?,' I got jumped on
'Big scary Alpha nothin'!,' my twin brother Lyric yelled through the mind link
'Get off of me you big lump!,' I shouted back though the mind link
'Hey!,' I heard Lucian yell,
I got my moms coolest gift, I can hear other wolves mind links that's how I can talk to Lucian in wolf,
His younger sister Delilah is our age and Lucian is 18 only a few months older then us.
Delilah is only a few months younger than us.
I flipped Lyric over and pined him
'Not so tough now!,' I laughed
Lyric has the same size and pelt colour of our father Alpha Kay, with blue eyes from Ash our wolf mother. In human his eyes are blue.
I jumped off and ran away looking back.
I didn't realize I ran straight into another wolf
'Oh god sorry!,'
I looked on who it was; our head warrior wolf, Grey.
'Sorry Grey,' I apologized
'it's okay Eclipse,' he laughed, he's nineteen.
I smiled my eyes flickering up his body, he was about the same size as Lyric, but he was silver, his eyes a striking vibrant blue
'I'll see you later, on patrol,' I smiled I turned and ran away
I saw a fox tail I slowed down 'Cinnamon?,' I asked
"hello!," she smiled jumping out, she was the oldest in her moms litter Auntie Vixy of cubs. 'Okay I need to hunt down Lyric, see ya!,'
I turned and sprinted away I skidded to a halt when I realized I didn't know where I was.
I was in a small clearing pressed up against a rock face. With a waterfall fresh with spring water and a pond and a tiny stream I smiled
'I need to come back here,' I told my wolf Kiara
I walked up to the pond my white face reflected back at me, with my one green eye, and one blue eye, I turned my head and looked at the left side of my face it was black it trailed down to my left front leg and stopped not a clue why that was there.
I ran to meet Grey and Jagger, the Beta for patrol.
We ran together along the border. Grey freshened up our scent markers. After that we were back at home
'Thank you for the great patrol,' I praised Grey and Jagger
'Thank you Eclipse,' they both nodded
I phased and went to find Lyric and Lucian, tonight was his Alpha ceremony.
I walked a little ways and found him by the spot where the ceremony will take place
"Excited?," I asked
"Yes very!," Lucian smiled he sat on the stage
"I'm going to miss you in training tomorrow," I replied sitting next to him "You can beat up Lyric tomorrow," Lucian laughed
"rumour has is, Grey will be watching tomorrow,"
"Oh good lord! I'll mess up for sure!," I replied
"No your amazing! You won't mess up," Lucian smiled nudging me
"I hope not," I replied
"Soon he'll be taking orders from you one day, he would not anger the beast," we laughed
"Your right!," I laughed
"It's almost sun down, want to wrestle? It would be your last time," I asked "Sure, the next time I 'wrestle' will be with my mate," Lucian replied
"To much info dude!," I laughed shoving him off the stage he landed on the ground
I jumped on too of him Lucian threw me off I landed on my feet.
I jumped tackling him to the ground "For being so small you have a strong tackle," Lucian grunted he flipped me over pinning my shoulders
"You missed that weakness," he laughed
I tried to free myself I growled and went limp, Lucian loosened his grip then I sprung up through Lucian off. "Pretty even fight," I laughed hugging Lucian
"Remember any boys bother you in training I'll give them a scare," Lucian nodded
"Right," I smiled I let go
I heard footsteps
"The ceremony must be starting soon," I replied sitting on the ground.
I saw Alpha Sol and my dad.
"Ready son?," Sol asked
"Yes dad," Lucian said seriously
"so serious all the time," dad teased
I heard mom and Lilly approaching
"My big boy! Becoming Alpha!,"
"Oh mom," Lucian smiled.
Soon everyone sat in front of the stage where Alpha Sol, stood with dad next to Lucian.
"Do you, Lucian, son of Alpha Sol, promise to protect the packs, and Luna's?," Kay asked
"Yes Alpha Kay," Lucian answered
"Do you promise, to fight alongside your fellow Alpha," Sol asked
"yes Alpha Sol," Lucian calmly said. "To protect now and generations to come? Plus train your son the peace our two packs share?." Sol asked
"I do,"
"Care to tell us?," Kay asked
"yes," Lucian replied "I will protect my pack, and help protect my fellow pack, protect what's most important to us! Our Luna's and pups! Guard with fierceness and keep the friendship between the packs! Now! And forever!," Lucan ended strongly
Sol and Kay walked up to him
"We present Alpha Lucian! Of SunFang!," Sol yelled out
Howls of joy rang out
I joined in.
I saw Lucian smile briefly, he only really smiles with me, I don't see him smile often when he's around other people.
After the ceremony people started to leave slowly for there own beds I hugged Lucian
"Miss ya in training tomorrow," I called turning to head back to the pack house. "Can I walk with you," I almost jumped "Of course Grey," I smiled "rumour has it your coming to watch training tomorrow,"
"Yes, I used to train with you guys," Grey smiled
"Yes, you were always with Kenny," I nodded remembering
"Right," Grey chuckled "but he was never a challenge for me,"
"I bet not!," I agreed.
I saw the pack house
"Thank you for walking with me, I'll see you at training then tomorrow," I smiled
"Will do," Grey nodded
I turned to go inside, I felt eyes on me just before I was about to turn around they left, I went to bed.
