Behold the news

"The time for voting has ended. The final task of the third selection will begin shortly."

"Please put on your uniforms and assemble immediately."

The speakers announce waking you from your slumber. The same goes for the other people in the room.

'What a way to wake up...' You deadpan as you sit up on your bed, your hair falling into your face and tickling your face.

You comb it back with one of your hands and look at the others who groggily and some even unwillingly get out of bed.

"Morning Haru." A voice greets from your right.

"Good Morning Nanase." You respond with a tired smile.

— After you came back from Ego yesterday evening Nanase approached you with the intent to tell you about Akino.

He explained that he and Akino were able to get another teammate, then they played against another team they lost and the opposing team chose him leaving Akino with the unfamiliar guy.

The rest was something he left for you own imagination either way Akino doesn't play in Blue Lock anymore and is probably already at home again.

Which still didn't explain why he did not answer your messages but it's supposedly because he's devastated.

But in general Nanase cleared up most questions in your head and your not mad that he did. —

"How did you sleep?" He ask sitting down at your beds end. You fold your legs to a criss-cross.

"Relatively good...but could've been better. And you?" He responds with a 'it was okay' gesture making you chuckle.

Everyone started to slowly gather in the big room from yesterday most still stretching to ease their muscles.

"We counted your votes aswell as regarding your first and second choice and will now announce the distribution among the teams." The speakers blare across the room catching everyone's attention.

The big screen from where the voice came from changes showcasing the three teams and who's in which.

"Oh you chose team B?" Himizu asks joining your side while keeping his eyes on the team assignments.

"Nop i chose C but seems like it was too full or something..." You shrug with a unbothered expression, "Not like i mind being in B it was my second choice after all."

"And you'll play in two games anyways, right?" Nanase exclaims from your other side.

"Yup." You cross your arms infront of yourself and shift your weight to one leg.

The screen changes once again this time showing when the teams play.

"A total of five games will be played. In the last one, (L/n) Haru will be playing as a member of team C."

"There is a six-hour break between each game."

"For reasons of fairness, it will not be possible to watch the other games."

"Now we come to the first game, A against B. The first three members are randomly selected."

The whole room pauses waiting for the first players of team A and B.

"The first for team A is ..."

The tombola shown on the screen spits out a 'ball'.

"Nanase Nijiro!"
