Meet the U-20!

Author pov.

One hand is covering your lower face while the other holds the arm up so it doesn't slip. Your eyes have been focused on one point at the floor for a while now.

"Let me get this straight..." You look up to face Ego who has been watching you with unamused eyes, "The Itoshi Sae wants me and Shidou to play for the U-20 National team because he doesn't like their play...?"

"For the nth time. Yes." The four eyes crosses his arms and leans back against his chair.

You cover your face with your hands and lean forward so that your hair falls around your covered face.

'What. The. Fuck.' A sigh leaves your lips before you stand straight again and face Ego with a scowl.

"When will he be here?"

"45 minutes." He twirls around in his chair observing some data again ere he muttered something under his breath.

"You have been such a good asset to the team, now i have to plan everything over again..."

Your lips twitch at his words wanting to say something so badly but you keep your mouth shut and press them together into a thin line.

"Go and pack the things you need, head to the punishment room after." Tipping sounds come from his direction and different tabs open on two of the screens.

Your eyes linger on the tabs being opened and yours and Shidous icons popping up.

"Alright." With a turn you move to leave but Egos words stop you for a second.

"Don't hold back when you face of against them."

"...I won't." A small smile draws over your lips and you step out of his office.

A bag with your things hangs over your shoulder as you're on your way to the punishment room in which Shidou is still in, probably.

You turn one last corner before spotting the rooms entrance already open and Anri standing in the door.

Her face is scrunched up in worry and her posture shows how uncomfortable she is letting Shidou out after what he pulled of against Rin.

"Teiri san." The small female turns around with a startled face but it quickly switches to one of relief.

"(L/n) kun. Good that you're already here." You nod in response your eyes traveling to the inside of the room.

Inside as expected Shidou stood already free of his restraints with a devilish smirk on his face. Infront of him stood a male a bit smaller than the blonde before him with pale wine red hair.

'That's probably Sae Itoshi...'

Your grip around the strap of your bag gets stronger some small veins appearing.

Shidou perks up as his down cast eyes fall onto the other pair of shoes at the door slowly his eyes travel up the legs until they reach the face of the newly arrived person.

"Ah! Who would've thought your the other player, Mother~" His grin widens further after seeing your displeased expression. Sae turns around aswell now coming face to face with you.

"Haru (L/n)."

You press your lips into a thin line and nod your head not wanting to entertain him with a verbal response.

Anri who's standing behind you shifts slightly before speaking up, "Now that both of the players you chose are here...will you leave, Itoshi kun?"

"Yes, we'll leave now, and send my regards to Ego." His words come out without much emotion behind them as his blank gaze bores into Anri.
