Alice's P.O.V

I sat in the waiting room next to Tanya, an awkward silence surrounding us. I didn't want to speak, I felt terrible. Someone is going to sacrifice themselves because of me. I never meant for this to happen to anyone, no one was meant to get this hurt. I went to court earlier today for a trial but I was bailed out by my parents, who I may add are extremely rich and extremely pissed at me right now. I have tried to apologize but they have blocked me out, so has Tanya. But little do they know I will make it up to them even if they don't like how I will.

Tanya needs to live her life while she can, because I know that in five years' time (she is 16 now) she will pass away. The doctors told her about a condition she was born with but I can't remember its name, so she needs to live while she can, because she and Dylan had something real and still have something real.
