Taking the bacon off the pan and plating it, ready to serve it to the table. A young girl who has been anticipating to eat already, chuckling at her adorable gleaming eyes. "It's just a normal, bacon and avocado sandwich."

"What kind of smartypants would pair avocado in a sandwich? I have never met anyone who does!! You are a genius." Biting in the sandwich I made and continue on rambling about something that how could avocado be so good with bread.

Sarah came out dressed up, ready to leave for somewhere, I guess. Trying to tie her hair in a ponytail and went to her sister."Holly, don't talk when your mouth is full."

That's when the young girl decided to keep quiet and enjoy the food, Sarah turned to me and awkwardly smiled. Maybe because of what happened yesterday?

"I'm heading out to... Go somewhere." She trails off in the middle of her sentence, as if hiding something from me or rather not wanting me to let me know about a certain thing. I noticed Holly suddenly looking down slowly munching on her sandwich.

"Are you going home, siwwy?" The question made Sarah look at Holly, who is now tearing up. She quickly goes to her and hugs her, letting out a huge sigh.

"I just need to fetch something at home then, I'll come back quickly." Holly grips on her older sister's jacket, not wanting to let her go off, the younger looks at me and cries.

"Don't let her go please." I look at Sarah who is now trying to calm her sister down from crying. I kneel near Holly, which made Sarah look at me.

"Sarah, can I come with you?" Sarah stands up and pulls me up to stand too, making me move away from her sister. "What's wrong?"

"Its dangerous for you to go- I mean, who's going to look after her here if I let you come?" The first sentence made me suspicious of what danger would lie ahead if I go.

"Sarah, you do know if its something that dangerous for me or your sister to go then it will be for you too? Have you ever thought of that?" She looks at me stunned, probably the first time she heard me somehow burn.

"Myles..."

Some time later...

It's getting cloudy, as if it's about to rain, when we stopped at this Tudor Home. A very whimsical structure yet old and untouched, the front yard was filled with diapers and thick bushes. At some point, it might look like it's inhabitable, carrying possible diseases— Sarah unbuckles her belt and glances at me and her sleeping sister.

"It's best if you stay here with her, I won't be long." I stopped her, she didn't bother to look at me. "Call me if you need me, I'll run to you as fast as I can."

She goes inside the house, probably where she— they lived all their life. It may have been inhabitable but somehow, I hope this place was once a place full of undying precious memories.

A couple minutes past, I hear an upcoming car approaching that stopped in front of the house, revealing a man around his 40s chugging down a bottle of beer in his hand.

"Is that their father?"

That thought past my head, an alcoholic old man fumbling on his keys to try to open the door. Only then when he realized it was open. I immediately called Sarah, but she declined it. As if she knows that her father has finally shown up at their house.
