Chapter 3

Nick on the side

Sapphire's P.O.V

I lay in my bed, unable to sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I see Nick's gorgeous blue-grey ones, I can't get him out of my mind. I am so lucky to have found my mate, Nick is just amazing. Lost in thought, I didn't hear the door open. I feel something grab my arm, but I fling the person onto the bed and move to straddle them, while pinning their arms back. I look down at my attackers face, only to look into Nick's eyes. That's when I feel the amazing sparks running through my body. "Nick! Oh god I'm sorry! What are you doing in here!?" I ask him. "Well, I was coming to sleep in here, but I think I like this position more." He says with a wink. My face reddens and I quickly slide off of him.

I sit up, turn to him and ask "Why were you coming to sleep in here?" He nervously runs his fingers through his hair, before replying. "I, uh, I couldn't get you out of my head. I've been restraining myself from marching right in here and kissing you all night."He says. I blush and tell him that I had the same problem. "Do you mind if I sleep with you tonight?" I tell him he can and get back under the covers. He strips down to his boxers, making me drool. My eyes roam down and stop at his abdomen. Damn, look at that six pack, our mate is hot as hell. I say to my wolf, Aqua. She purrs in agreement before saying 'I want to touch them!' My face reddens while I tell her We are not touching his abs! She just rolls her eyes. He smirks at me and says "See something you like?" I blush and turn around, I feel a dip in the bed and then the heat from his body as he scoots closer. I can feel him staring at me, so I roll over to face him. "What are you doing?" I ask nervously. "Just wondering how I got paired with such a wonderful mate."He smiled, causing me to melt. I scoot closer to him and begin to drift off to sleep. I feel a slight pressure on my forehead and then I hear "Sleep tight, my love." I smile slightly before completely passing out.

Waking up, I move to stretch but, my body is restricted by something. I glance down to see a pair of arms wrapped tightly around my body. I follow the arms and come face to face with Nick. I smile as I remember him coming in last night. I tried to move again, but Nick's grip only tightens. I sit there wondering how I can take down a rogue in two seconds, but I an't get out of my mates arms while he's sleeping. After a few minutes I give up on thinking of how I could get out of this and mind-link Ruby for help, but it turns out she's in the same boat as me. Apparently us Stone girls are too irresistible for the Price boys. Ruby and I mind-link our different ideas. In the end, we decide to teleport the boys to their rooms. I teleport Nick into his room and drop him on the floor beside his bed. I hear two loud thuds and then hear our mates shout "What the hell!" I giggle and begin to get dressed, making sure to lock my door.

After a few minutes, I hear a knock on the door. I walk over to it and see Nick standing in the doorway, shirtless. I slowly trail my eyes up and down his body. As I get to his face, I see him smirking down at me. I notice that he was checking me out too, and I smirk at him. I let him into the room and he goes and sits on the bed. "You know, I don't remember going back to my room last night, but yet this morning, I fell on the floor in my room." He says eyeing me. I put on an innocent smile and say "Really, that's odd. I wonder how that could've happened." He looks away for a second and I teleport him so he falls on the floor again. He looks around wildly and shouts "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" I giggle and say "Language!" He turns towards me in realization. Uh oh. He stands up and walks over to me, I take steps away from him until my back hits the wall. Double uh oh. He leans down and puts his lips at my ear. He whispers "Did you do that, my love?" I gulp and say "Maybe I did, maybe I di--WAIT! Did you just say love?"
