Tobias pov- I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. This day will be the hardest day of my life I clutch my pillow as tears fall down my face. Today would have been three years that I would have been with tris.I hear crying down the hall I get up and walk down the hall to Trissa's room. Trissa is tris and I's 3 year old daughter tris was pregnant with her back in amity she tris wrote a note for me before going into the weapons lab telling me she was pregnant and that she was going to tell me sooner, but with the war going on it would have been too much. I pick trissa up out of her crib. "Daddy Where mommy.?" Now I know what you are thinking how in the world can a toddler put sentences together that good. But honestly I don't know I guess she just has the ability to do that a such a young age. "I told you this before trissa she went on a long trip." I don't want to break her heart about the tragic incident that happened not until she is older anyway. After I bathe her, and feed her, and Change her into some new clothes I am about to walk her to Christina's when trissa Throws a fit. "No daddy!" She says crossing her arms. She has that determined look in her eyes the same look I seen In tris's. She looks like tris, built like tris. But when it comes to the attitude that is all me inside of her."Trissa, Whats wrong I thought you like Christina?" "I do daddy its just-" she says in her toddler voice. "I feel like you are trying to replace mommy." I feel like someone just stabbed me in the heart.especially When she refers tris to "mommy". Christina has been around her ever since she was born. Unlike tris who got shot before she could even meet trissa. I remember the day trissa was born like it was yesterday Christina came out with a pink blanket. The warmth trissa gave off to me when I took her into my arms was so comforting. I had been grieving my heart out for days on end. But when trissa came I looked at it from that day on that Tris was still with me even if it was in the tiniest piece. And that tiny piece is trissa. I look up to see trissa with a hurt look in her eyes. Tears are falling down my face faster by the minute." Why are you crying daddy.?" "Because you remind me so much of your mommy." I say. She runs up to me and hugs me. Cautious at first ,but certain at last just like tris. I pull back and smile at her "why don't we go welcome those new transfers into dauntless shall we?" She giggles and smiles back at me "yes we shall." I grab her hand and turn the opposite way to the net. The net that trissa will figure out sooner or later That Brought her mother and I together.
