Trissa Pov- I sit up on the highest point of the ferris wheel in shock how could my father do this to me. This is where I go to clear my problems tommarow I choose. I look up to the sky in tears. And Cry out. "I wish you were here" as if my mother could hear me. 'Foolish' I say to myself inside my head."I have always been here" I hear a voice. I turn to see a figure dressed in black."Mom!" I scream. I jump up and hug her. She embraces me back. She pulls back and looks at me for a moment." you look brave" She says. "Thanks, so do you" I say.She looks over at me. "You have to be brave trissa, but you also have wise of your choice just know that I love you and so does your father and we support you on any choice you make." The tears hit worse she has been watching over me all these years. "Don't cry trissa your brave you will make it" "I'm not crying because of that I'm crying because I finally got to meet you" I say. She smiles at me. "You know your father and I climbed this?" "Yeah, this is where I go when dad and I argue or just to clear my head" "Well you and Tobias need to fix things you need each other more than you know" "yeah" I say. She looks over at the sky and back at me."I have to go trissa" "Go where?" "Home" she says. Tears are flowing faster "So I guess this is goodbye" "For now" she says.She hugs me once last time. And kisses my cheek she smells like apples. "I love you trissa" "I love you Too mom" she looks at me one last time with that determined look that father always talked about. "Eat a piece of cake for me, Chocolate was always my favorite." "Okay mom" I say smiling. And with that she stands there. "TRISSA!" I hear a voice. "Dad!" I cry out. He climbs up and once he reaches me he pulls me into a hug."Dad,look mom's - " but when I turn around she's gone." But she was just here" "Its okay trissa I saw her too." "You did?" "Yeah I just want you to know I love you, and I'm sorry. I want you to know I am okay with what you choose" "Really?" "Yeah" he says.

The next morning I get up. Today is the day that changes my life. I get dressed and as I'm doing my hair I start thinking of how much I have changed over the past 16 years. I put my hair in a bun in memory of my mother.My father and I walk to the choosing ceremony together he has to give a speech anyway so it isn't much of a hassle. I look up in the sky and see 3 ravens fly by. I realize whatever I choose it effects everyone so I need to choose not just what makes me happy,but what makes my parents happy."Trissa?" I look over to my father. "I will say this one last time" he says. I nod my head. "Be brave trissa"
