The atmosphere in the office was calm, almost too quiet for a Monday morning. Thea (Michael) sat at her desk, trying to focus on the work in front of her. She had to maintain professionalism, keeping her personal life at bay for the time being. Kevin had arrived earlier, casually greeting her with a smile that was just a bit too warm for the office setting, but both of them kept their usual friendly demeanor around others. No one had the faintest idea about the late-night talks and shared moments they had, or how their relationship had blossomed in secret.

But deep down, both of them could feel the weight of what they were hiding. They hadn't spoken much about it at the office; after all, it was far too risky. Kevin had been careful to keep his distance, not wanting to give anything away. Thea had also learned to play it cool, keeping her conversations with him short and professional.

It wasn't long before Kevin's phone buzzed with a text. He glanced at it and smiled softly, seeing it was from Thea.

"Meeting at 12? Need to discuss the new project deadline."

He quickly typed a response.

"Sure, see you in 10 minutes."

As he prepared to head out of his office for their meeting, he couldn't help but think about what had happened over the weekend. His mind wandered back to the Sunday they had spent together. He'd been secretly thrilled about the time they'd shared, especially since their connection had become undeniable. But he had to stay focused. They were in this together, and their relationship was their little secret.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Kevin's father, Mr. Sutanto, had already started taking action. The old man was meticulous, as always, and had begun noticing subtle things. He had his suspicions about his son, especially after hearing a rumor at one of his business meetings. His son had been spotted on a date with someone—a woman, they said.

Mr. Sutanto wasn't just going to sit back and let that slide. He made a call to one of his trusted men, a shadow who had been following Kevin for a while now, just to keep an eye on him. This man, silent and observant, had been instructed to report anything suspicious. Of course, he had no idea who the woman was that Kevin had been spending time with, but he knew she had to be important to his son.

On Sunday, as Kevin and Thea spent their time together—though neither of them knew just how closely Kevin's father was watching—Mr. Sutanto's man had been following Kevin discreetly. After all, he didn't know who the woman was, but he was aware enough to know that Kevin was no longer the solitary bachelor he'd once been.

As Kevin and Thea sat down at their meeting, deep in discussion about the project, neither of them knew the web was tightening. They both felt the subtle anxiety of their secret growing. It wasn't long before Kevin's phone buzzed again. He quickly glanced at the message.

It was from his father.

"I noticed you've been spending a lot of time with someone lately. Who is she? Let's talk."

Kevin read the message, his heart skipping a beat. He knew his father. Mr. Sutanto was no stranger to investigating his son's affairs. Kevin couldn't help but feel a little uneasy, but he quickly typed a reply.

"Just a colleague. Nothing to worry about, Dad."

But deep down, Kevin couldn't shake the feeling that his father wasn't buying it.
