"We need to leave!" My stepmom yells.
"Let me take it all in. I'm leaving the place I grew up in. It's hard." I call back.
"Kase we have to go." Jessica groans.
"One moment." I plead.
"The neighbor boy's hot. I'd go straight for him if he wasn't underage. See has already turned him off so he's yours."
"Okay bitch bye!" I say to the room the Serria and I have shared since we were born and I run to the truck.
"So be honest Kasey, how do you feel about your mother and I?" Jessica asks.
"Jess, you've been married to my mom for four years, why are you asking this now? I love you like another mother, because you are." I say quickly.
"Well I mean us moving."
"Oh well I mean that house was far too small. Kell always had the garage as a room, even though Serria and I should've gotten it, and you and mom have always wanted to adopt so now that you guys have Ross it makes sense to move." I say.
"That's good to hear. Serria wants the bigger room but I saved it for you since you'll be making the biggest change in your life."
"Change? All that's changing is the wifi password right?"
"Sweetie your mother and I think you should make some new friends, that live in Canada. I mean you can talk to the ones from here, I don't think it's healthy to have friends only in different states."
"But Jess!"
"No Kasey. I'll get you a new phone and laptop."
"Fine."
"You've always been my favorite. You're so easy to bribe." Jessica laughs.
