Chapter 5

The queen decided to sharpen her claws cause she has not been able to sharpen them in years. She found it not right and told her children to do the same when the hive is completed. It also help save time while she waited.

Once I entered her premises, hearing the painful, ear piercing screech as she sharpens her claws, I said," Hello, my queen." She turned to me, stopped sharpening and smiled. "Welcome Austin or shall I say, zenith."

"Zenith? Is that my new name?"

She nods. "It's time to make you one of us, become one of my children and part of the hive." She brought in many kinds of eggs, each a different shape and size. "Each egg will have a facehuggers but will make you a different Xenomorph. I don't let people choose but your different so I will let you decide, but first I need to explain all the types you can become."

After several hours of her explaining this too me it was now time to choose. I scanned all the eggs one more time. This was a very hard choice to make cause then is permanent. "Ok, I think I got it."

She tilted her head. "You think."

I nodded.

"Well? What is it?" She demanded.

She tracked my finger as it pointed at one of the eggs, it was an oval shaped and was a light brown color. "Ah, a warrior. May I ask why you chose that particular one?"

I thought about it then replied. "Well for one Chrusers are powerful but they can't climb walls, spitters are only long ranged and drones only work in the hive."

The chuckled, "You become a drone then morph into a warrior once you have been a drone for a while and when I think you are ready." She explained.

"I'll be then drone then." After that two xenomorph drones appeared behind me.

"These two will escort you to where your egg is." She says.

I get up and follow them.

After a few hours of "hiving" me they brought the egg. "Ready?" One of them asked. There was no real way to tell if they were male or female but this one had a deep hiss-like voice I guessed he was male. "Yes I'm ready." I replied. After that all I saw was darkness....
