As I sat my bag down on the ground and hooked my bike on to those lock thingys, an ambulance entered and firemen went in. This isn't a good sign.

"Um... Guys, what's going on?" I ask in curiosity.

Charlie starts, "Well, a small fire started in the science lab and Carlos was in there. We got news saying he's fine and possibly no major things happened to him. Carlos took out the fire but before that, we had to evacuate the building just in case the fire burned down the school." A tear starts rolling down in the corner of his eye. I don't blame him, because one of our best friends might've gotten hurt.

"How long ago did this happen?" I ask.

"Um," looking at the time on his phone that read 7:26, "like about five minutes ago. I don't really know. " Charlie sniffles and wipes the tear off his cheek. I almost start to cry and feel the tears in my eyes moisture.

I reply with just an "Oh okay." Really, I had nothing else to say. My brother is in the hospital and one of really close friends maybe be in critical condition, which is the opposite of what Charlie said, but you know what I mean.

A male police got a Megaphone and spoke into it. "Um, hello everyone, good morning," then mumbles of good mornings sang out. He giggled, "I'm Officer Golding and just want to inform you that everything is okay. No one is hurt," THANK THE LORD JESUS, " I regrets to tell you guys that there is no school today," Cheers filled the air, "but your principal told me to tell you also that school is going to be in session tomorrow." Then the cheers turned into groans. Then after he said that, Carlos comes through the front school doors with no care in the world. Shayna, Charlie and I push through the crowd and run towards him and give him a huge group bear hug. God bless him that he is alive.
