Chapter Three

It's been a couple of weeks since Brooke moved in. You've gotten used to her shotgun weapon form through practice and were starting to look at her other forms. It turned out your soul wavelengths matched. You were sitting in class when Maka passed you a note. It read. 'Kid's having a party tonight at 8. You two wanna come?' You wrote down 'Sure. Is it casual?' and passed it back across the desk 'Of course' You looked at her and nodded and continued writing down notes.

 Later that evening you got ready. Took a shower, brushed your teeth and whatever else you do. Once you arrived, exactly at 8, you saw a few people you knew but other than that not so much. Brooke was clinging to your side, because big crowds cause major anxiety for her. 

"Hey (y/n)! Brooke! Glad to see you two came!" Kid greeted and walked away. Brooke gasped and squealed "There's Maka! I'm gonna go say hi!" You just sighed in response. Finding no one to really talk to you just sat on the couch. After a while of surfing the 'inter-googles' on your cellular device, you felt the other end of the couch sink down. You slowly turned your head to see Blackstar staring at you with the utmost intensity.

 "What do you want?" you stated rather than questioned. He looked down and blushed a bit. "Would you, um, maybe want to go on a date with me sometime?" You just stared at him in shock. "A date? Why me? I thought you and Tsubaki were a couple." It was now his turn to look shocked and blush even more.

 "Yes a date. B-because I like you a l-lot. And Tsubaki's like a sister to me! That would be gross." You sat there and thought for a second " You have to prove to me that you're worthy of going on a date with me." "Um, what? How do I do that? Why do I have to do that" he questioned. "You have a month. Show me you can treat me with respect and like I'm a human being instead of someone who is below your 'godliness'. Got it? I have to at least know you before I even start to think about giving you my time." you stated confidently. 

"Um. Yeah, I guess I got it?" he said with a flustered expression. All of a sudden Brooke appeared looking queasy. "Um, (y/n), I think we should go!" she squeaked. "Yeah let's get you home." you started to guide her towards the door. "Hey! (Y/n) I'll see you around!" Blackstar called after you" You sighed just wanting to be home "Yeah I'll see you!" And with that you were off.
