Dear Diary,

I mean I know. I'm 17 years old and I still write in this thing, but let's face it, who else am I going to shit talk with.
My prior writings have been childish...immature even. So I would like to start you over Diary. I'm thinking of it as a new chapter in my life,literally. A new way of thinking about my thoughts. So here goes nothing.

Dear diary,
My name is Alyssa Grande. My Although, often mistaken as 'Ariana's twin' . Although that is technically what I am in relation to Ari , just as she is 'Alyssa's twin' that is not who I am. You can call me Lys. I was born on the 26th of June 1998 following with Ari a couple of minutes later. We were raised in Florida, still living here now. I like it here I guess. I mean I would probably enjoy it more if I had people to enjoy it with. I have a small group of friends that I trust. Ive found its difficult to know if people like you for you or for your siblings social status. My friendship is definitely not easy to earn. My sister and I are identical twins so obviously we look the same. Our fashion sense is usually quite similar however we have always had our own unique spins on everything from fashion to hair to makeup etc.. I'm homeschooled for obvious reasons. And I hate it, but I'll leave that rant for another time. In summary I basically like adventure and always try to be optimistic and happy. So every now and then I guess I'll be writing to you about however I'm feeling or perhaps if something interesting in my life actually happens. But for now,goodnight.
