I began to stir from my slumber as the warming sun crept its way up my aching body. I lay motionless, listening to the birds melodies.

Today was the day the 'media tour' began. I thought the trip would be perhaps what I was most anxious about, but boy was I wrong. I have to meet Harry before I can do anything else. I don't really know why Im so nervous to go for a morning coffee! He just gives off that vibe. I feel like I should always be alert...but I only agreed to go so I could retrieve my raincoat after all.
-
The strong smell of bacon and a large clatter of saucepans soon coaxed me out of bed. I entered the kitchen to find my extremely vegan sister preparing a predominately meat based breakfast.
'Ari what the shit are you doing handling all of this meat,' I tiredly question. 'To be completely honest I have no idea anymore,' she starts with a stressed sigh. 'I was going to cook you all breakfast in hope the morning would go somewhat smoother but I just can't touch this meat. I'm basically a murderers accomplice now you know! They killed the animal and I seared it in hot oil!' I laughed at her genuine concern earning myself a middle finger to the face. I offered my help to finish cooking any meat, while she dealt with different fruits and things that never had a heartbeat.
-
By the time breakfast had been prepared and finally demolished it was 8.30am, so I began to get ready for my coffee dat..um..meeting with Harry.

I opted for white, ripped skinny jeans, paired with a cropped, grey sweater. After applying my usual makeup and curling my hair I set out to Bolt Coffee house.

-
I arrived a couple of minutes early and decided to scroll through anything of interest on my phone. I carelessly flicked from one thing to the next when a set of large hands came into crashing contact with the car window, sending my phone flying into the atmosphere. I forcefully swung open the door hitting whoever stood behind it. Already having my suspicions on who it was. I bounded out of the car and my suspicions were in fact confirmed. Harry.

'Way to impress a girl Styles' I sarcastically remark. I obviously did not realise my own strength..I was waiting for a retaliation remark from the sarcasm king when I noticed he was gripping his elbow. He noticed my directed gaze and loosened the grip on his sore, finally speaking, 'You sure are strong for such a small girl Lys. I guess I shouldn't underestimate the power of petite.'
'Well then I guess I shouldn't overestimate ones intelligence for their British accent.' I added with a soft smile.
-
As we made our way into the quaint coffee house I admired the architecture. The exterior was warm and inviting, entirely made from oak, rain stained beams. It was almost like natures personal touch on something man made. The interior showcased the same warm, friendly feel, with cushioned booths designed for rainy Sunday coffee chats. I was pulled from my thoughts of admiration,'What do you fancy babe?' I blushed at his pet name and stuttered my drink order, glancing around for a free booth. The unnecessary use of 'babe'  must just be a Brit thing..
-
Minutes passed and Harry advanced towards the booth I had seated at. 'A Grande for a Grande,'
I returned a small smile and gratefully took my drink, 'Original.'
I had only taken a few sips of my coffee when Harry placed what looked like some kind of fancy gift box on the table. With knitted eyebrows I asked,'What's this?'
'Well Lys,' he spoke, 'a promise is to be kept, and you kept yours by coming here, so here is your pretty pastel raincoat.'
I lifted only the corner of the box and my eyes were met with my raincoat. 'I almost forgot about this.'
'I am distracting if I do say so myself.' That cocky smirk appeared on his face and I wanted to slap it right off.

As I was going to call him out on being so cocky all the time, he beat me to speaking.
'Although this was brief, I should get leaving. I returned your raincoat so I guess this is finished here.' And without another word or even a single glance, he rose from his seat and left. I sat dumbfounded, listening to his footsteps grow further away from me. The chime of the bell on the closing door snapped me out of a trance I didn't realise I was in. The gift box sat staring at me from across the table, as if it were taunting me. He left for no apparent reason. He just got up and left. What was his problem?
What did I say or do that made him want to leave?
I felt a pang of rejection deep in my stomach. I knew this wasn't a date or anything, just a simple meet up to retrieve a rain jacket..why did I feel like this?

-
I gathered my things and left the cafe furiously, with the box held tightly under my arm. When I neared my car I noticed something flapping in the windshield wipers. I grabbed what I discovered to be a piece of paper. A note. From Harry.

Look a little closer at your pretty pastel raincoat. All the love H x

I hopped into the car and did as I was informed. I opened the box fully this time, looking a little closer. This wasn't my raincoat. This was an absolutely incredible dress, with another note attached.

A Size 4 for Miss Grande.
Grande yet you're so petite.
Wear this dress in three days time.
All the love H x

I felt myself smiling at the note, any anger I had held completely vanished. The anger was replaced with the feeling of complete and utter mystery. What was this boy planning.
