Chapter 4
We walked in silence, but it was like that silence that wasn’t awkward. I felt happy with him. I followed him then I noticed where he was bringing me. We were walking towards the waterfall. The place where I have the memories of my first crush. While walking there I felt all the stares of the fey people looking at me walking with a commoner. I wondered how Coven felt.
Lost in my thoughts I did not notice we were almost there. He started to walk towards the boulders and climbed it. Then he stretched out his hand to help me up. I took his hand feeling a rush when he pulled me up. We sat down and stared at the waterfall. I listened to the birds and the water gushing down. I had my eyes closed then he whispered in my ear giving me a scare.
“Princess, I missed you.”
What! Did he miss me because of last time? I was super surprised, I felt like my wings were going to fall off and my heart stopped. His voice was so sexy and tempting.
“Uh…uh…Ok.”
I felt stupid. I had no idea what to say to him. I never experienced this before. Never heard someone tell me they missed me besides my dad when he has to travel to another kingdom.
We were in silence again but since he said that it was very awkward to me.
“Uh… the water fall is very pretty, right?” I stuttered.
“Yeah it is.” He said. I felt his stare on my naked neck.
“I have many memories here.” He said.
I was taken by surprise. I have memories here too.
“So do I.” I said smiling stupidly out past the horizon.
Out of nowhere I felt his arms on my body and I felt like I was falling. Well, I was falling! He threw me off the boulder to the water. I made a huge splash and stood up the water was freezing. Then he jumped in making an even huger splash and splashed all the water on me. I screamed as he pulled me to the water. Then he laughed and I started laughing. We played in the water for about an hour. We sat on the sand as we took time to breathe. He looked so sexy with a wet shirt on. I could see his perfectly shaped physique and when he put his hair back with his hands he looked even sexier.
We lay down for a while and then started chasing each other, hiding behind the boulders and laughing. I never had so much fun and he made me happy. Time was passing really fast. I did not want to leave just yet. I wanted to stay here with him and lose myself, lose track of time laughing and playing with him.
“Coven, I need to go now.” I said all sad.
“What? Already, I don’t want you to leave yet!”
“I am sorry. I don’t want to leave either but I promised my parents.”
As I was already turning away, I felt cold wet hand on my wrist turning me. I gasped out a breath as I felt his cold and wet lips on mine. They were so inviting. I wanted to stay, my body wanted to stay with Coven but I knew I had to leave. When he pulled away he looked at me and said, “You will be coming tomorrow, right?”
“Yes. “ I said smiling as I turned away from him. I quickly ran to the palace. As I reached the palace, I quickly found my parents. I told them I had a great day and that I went to the waterfall but of course leaving Coven out of it. I asked if I may go again tomorrow and they agreed. I ran to my room and jumped on my bed. I didn’t care that I was still kind of wet. I just laid there staring at the ceiling and thinking of him. I actually wanted to dream of him again.
