Chapter -1

**saige 's PoV ** 

" aunt I am going to stroll around near the house " I screamed to my aunt who was probably in the kitchen . " sure , but be careful and come back before the dark " she replied " and don't forget to tie ur hair " . "Sure " I said . 

I went to my drawer and chose a green rubber band made from some leaves and flowers with a piece of broken elastic I tied it in my long wavy blue hair ( natural hair ) , put on my slippers , open the door and went out . 

Let me first introduce u . I am saige , 18 years old with blue eyes and blur hair , weird but that's my natural hair and I have a natural tattoo I don't know it is just there on my right shoulder also of blue Color with a cool pattern . I am actually living with my aunt in the jungle a very beautiful ones and it is probably the year 1718 and so I was born in 1700 . I ..... Um ....... Don't have parents as when I was young there was a storm and then I don't remember anything just that a lady bought me to her home and raised me like a daughter and that women was probably aunt Natalie . I am actually going to the pond near our home just a 20 steps away . The pond is a beauty . I have not told my aunt about it as she tells me everything in this world is dangerous and so u shouldn't go to far nor stroll around but I believe that is wrong . Back to the pond now , I most probably found the pond when I was fifteen and was just collecting beautiful flowers near our home , but one flower with a bright blue Color caught my eye and I went to pluck it but it flew away and so I ran after it , but it landed in the pond I didn't go inside the pond but when I looked around the pond really looked magical and beautiful . 

The pond 's water was crystal clear sparkling blue with pink yellow and blue flowers and soft and smooth green grass around it two big trees with flowers and branches , one branch was a particular which I called my tree house it was just a branch with a pillow made of strong tree leaves . Just as simple as that . But beautiful . 

" at last " I said upon reaching . I quickly climbed to that branch and swung my legs down . I looked at the sparkling water and the other two trees and those beautiful flowers . A butterfly came and sit on my nose . "Hello " I said to him it flew away . " yawn " I yawned I was actually sleepy . I rested myhead on the pillow and drifted off to sleep with a smile on my lips . 

**after 2 hours ** 

"Saige , saige , saige , oh my gosh " I heard a voice and wake up with blurry eyes ,first thing I saw was my aunt , I nearly fell down , almost fell down , now i am hanging on a branch . " A-a-unt , how come u are here ? " I asked . " it's almost late , dinner time and u didn't came home so I came u find u , and came here , but how come u are here ?! " my aunt almost said a bit sternly . "A-a- cut ally ......... " I said wig bit of fear as I have never heard her voice so harsh ....... " explanation at home " she said a bit more softly , noticing my change of voice , but at the same time with a little stern voice . I jumped from the branch , did another jump and reached the ground . And started walking with my aunt . 

After I reached home I sat quietly on the wooden table . My aunt served some soup and my favourite dish spices curry with rose , I know weird but I like it , now I know why she was working in the kitchen from hours , I feel bad to make her angry . " I am s.. " I said but she cut me off " it's okay , I am glad that u just didn't fell in the water , now no more discussion and after dinner straight to sleep " she said . " but why were u scared it was just that pond's shallow water " I said simply . "No more discussion " she said . "Ok" I said but wondered why she would not allow me to go near the pond 's water .
