Dangerous Assumptions

Chapter 4(:

"Allie can I come in?" Louis asked.

"No." She answered and started to close the door, but Louis stopped her.

"Allie could you just hear me out?" He asked and Allie closed the door in response. A few seconds later there was another knock.

"Louis I don't want to talk so just leave." She said as she opened the door. Once again she was wrong about who it was. There stood Vanessa. Allie looked both ways down the hall but there was no sign of Louis anywhere.

"Was Louis here?" Vanessa asked confused.

"Was." Allie said letting her friend in.

"Sorry I'm late Al, I was with Niall and we were talking and I sort of forgot the time."

Allie waved it off. "It's fine, I've got time." She said, Allie was going to say something else but was stopped by Ella's crying. Ella had just woke up from her nap and it seemed like she was always touchy after her naps. Allie still could not figure out why. She walked over and picked Ella up whispering in her ear. It was always the only thing that worked, at least out of what Allie had tried.

"You want me to take her so you can go?" Vanessa asked and Allie nodded, she was just about to hand Ella to Vanessa when there was another knock, but this time on her window? Allie had her back turned to the window but Vanessa who was facing it stood there moth open, eyes wide in shock. Allie turned around.

"Oh my god Louis! What are you doing?" she screamed running to open her window, after all her flat was on the tenth floor up, as mad as she was at Louis she did not want him to fall. But even when the window was opened he refused to come in.

"Allie I need to tell you something and if this is the only way I can get your attention then so be it." Louis said.

"Louis how did you even get out there? Come in before you get yourself killed!" She was panicking at this point.

"No listen Allie, I've been an ass I know that. Here's the truth that day when you came to see me I had just seen those pictures, and I really didn't know what to think. Allie I spent those two years you were gone trying to convince my fans that they were wrong. So when I saw the picture I just didn't think and I lost it. It's been killing me every day to think that I lost you forever. Allie," He said finally stepping inside and moving closer to her so that they were only mere inches apart. Allie could not seem to breath, her heart was beating so fast. "you are the best thing that's ever happened to me, I love you Ali-Cat."

He finally finished and Allie was frozen in place. She couldn't seem to breath, she couldn't speak. All she could do was stare up into Louis' beautiful blue eyes. A tear escaped her eyes and Louis cupped her face in his hands, wiping the tear away with his thumb.

"I promise Allie, I will never leave you." He said and that was it, Allie knew in her heart that she didn't want him to, she loved him.

"Well are you going to kiss her?" Vanessa asked giving both Allie and Louis a look. Allie had completely forgotten Vanessa was even there.

Louis chuckled. "You bet I am." He said before tilting Allie's head up and giving her a long passionate kiss. The two finally broke apart when Ella, who Allie was still holding, reached up and poked Louis' face. Louis leaned back to look at Ella.

"She is even cuter in person Allie." He said and Ella giggled reaching her arms out towards Louis. Louis looked at Allie. "May I?" He asked, meaning he'd like to hold Ella. Allie smiled and nodded her head handing the darling little girl to Louis. Ella was one of the best behaved babies Allie had ever seen, she never cried, and was always giggling, like now. Ella seemed to be able to find amusement in anything and right now for whatever reason she found Louis amusing.

"I hate to break up the happy family, and you guys really are adorable, but Al don't you have to work?" Vanessa said causing Allie to instantly start rushing.

"Oh gosh I totally forgot!" Allie exclaimed grabbing her bag and running towards the door.

"Al, you might need shoes." Vanessa said laughing.

Allie shook her head. "Right, I've got them here." She said slipping on the pair of flats by the door. "Ok Vanessa, Ella just had a nap so you don't have to bother with that, but she will probably be hungry pretty soon and-"

Vanessa held up her hand. "I've got it Al don't worry."

Allie gave an appreciative smile then gave Louis a quick peck on the lips goodbye.

"Bye babe." He said, and that was that Allie was off to work.

~ (Time Skip) ~

"Alright everyone here are your scripts for Thursday, have them down pat by then?" Ben said before dismissing all the actors.

"Sorry about your nose Steve! I guess I need to practice faking that punch a little better." Allie said walking past one of the actors who only waved off her apology.

"Oh Allie," Ben called out as she was leaving.

"Yes?"

"So Thursday we're going to film the scene where your character finally kisses Ethan's. I wanted to let you know because I expect it to go perfectly. If it doesn't then we will film nothing but that scene all day until it's right." Ben said stressing the must go perfectly part.

Allie bit her lip. "Kiss?" She asked. Normally she would just be like ok, it's acting no big deal. But with all the friction the past few weeks, and having just made up with Louis she was worried about the outcome.

"Yes kiss, is that going to be a problem?"

"We'll see I've had some problems with fans saying I'm dating Ethan actually. I just don't want to really give them a reason to believe that anymore." She said.

Ben wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Allie listen, I like you as an actress, so I'm going to let you in on a little secret. What the director says goes. We have been leading up to this one kiss for three whole seasons of the show, slowly building the relationship of the character, and you expect me to cut it out?" He laughed. "See you Thursday." He said walking off.
