It had been a few days since the Oh family had arrived in Forks and the majority of their belongings were already unpacked, as well their furniture being placed stylishly around the house. The house had two stories and was very spacious with 5 rooms, two on the first story and three on the second, Mr and Mrs Oh took the master bedroom on the first floor giving Sehun reign to any of the rooms on the second. He decided to take the second master bedroom because it had a bathroom, and a balcony that overlooked the forest at the back of their house. There were few other features of the room that Sehun had instantly taken to, like the cozy looking window bay that he could use for reading and the turquoise colour that covered the walls giving him a calm feeling. Needless to say he loved his new room.
Although Sehun was happy with his new house so far, he couldn't be so sure about his new school. He was scared of ruining his fresh start and becoming a loner all over again, god knows how sad he would be if he had to celebrate another birthday alone. He felt pretty damn pathetic about not having any friends, having no friends meant he didn't really have a reason to go out and actually do things. The boy never knew why people didn't seem to like him, he was friendly if not just a bit shy, but surely that was something that could be overlooked? Either way he was pretty damn determined to socialise this year.
Just not today.
Sehun had been scolded several times by his mother for being restless, but he couldn't really help it, his nerves were consuming him. Did everyone find their first day at a new school this nerve wracking? Mr and Mrs Oh figured the boy must be terrified as he'd already tried several times to persuade them to turn the car around.
"Please mum? I don't think I'm ready!"
"You'll be fine son" his Father reassured.
Sehun groaned, hitting his head lightly on the window.
"You're not going to make any friends doing that Sehun"
"I'm probably not going to learn anything or make any friends, they all speak English! I don't"
"You know how to speak English Sehun, I don't know why you tell yourself you can't"
Sehun grumbles out some random incoherent words with a pout, making his parents chuckle. His parents were good loving people, but with all business trips they make he rarely has time to spend with them, he is just happy for these rare moments with them.
"I tell my self that because whenever I do speak English my lisp stands out so much that no one can understand me anyway!"
"Whatever you say kid, anyway we're here"
Sehun stared out the window as the car came to a stop, he felt his heart drop into his stomach dissolving in the acid and killing him instantly. R.I.P Oh Sehun.
"Sehun it's time for you to get out now"
He doesn't think he's ever felt so sick in his sixteen years of life, the parking lot ahead of him was filled with teenagers just milling about before class. He would surely stick out like a sore thumb with his simple denim jeans and his black and white raglan shirt. He said a quick goodbye before stepping out of the car and into the warm air, he gave a small wave to his parents as he walked through the car park towards the main office.
Walking through the car park proved to be a difficult task when the weight of all the eyes watching Sehun made him feel extremely self conscious. He held back a cry of busted nerves when he finally reached the office and instead sent a nervous smile towards the lady sitting patiently behind her desk.
"Hi I'm a new student, Oh Sehun-" He stopped his sentence, feeling horrified.
He didn't think before he spoke, he simply took one look at the lady and after seeing her Asian features he assumed she knew how to speak Korean. He continued to mentally berate himself until the lady let out a small giggle.
"Well, Oh Sehun here is your timetable and your locker combination, good luck on your first day".
Sehun gaped at her as she handed over two slips of paper, he couldn't be happier that someone else spoke Korean. A smile graced his lips, his day just got a little better.

It takes Sehun around ten minutes to find his locker which is conveniently placed near his home room. After the quick visit to his locker he heads to his home room, entering the classroom after a brief knock. He approaches the teacher with a stiff smile feeling the prick of eyes at the back of his head.
"Um hello sir, I'm Oh Sehun-"
"Ah, Sehun what a pleasure to meet you, welcome to Forks High school"
Sehun simply nods at the man's cheesy greeting.
"Everyone this is Oh Sehun, he's just transferred all the way from South Korea, please look after him and make sure he finds his way around the school".
He sneaks small glimpses at the other students as he makes his way to he back of the classroom to take a seat, he feels his cheeks heat up at the flirty smiles the girls send his way when he finally reaches his seat. Goosebumps rise on his arms when he feels one stare in a particular land on the side of his head, he turns his head slightly to see a pale boy with deep blue eyes blatantly gazing at him. The boy's lips quirk up in a smirk as he rocks back on his chair, making Sehun feel hot and uncomfortable. He squirms before looking away.

At the end of the day Sehun is more than happy to go home, a day full of awkward introductions and lots of staring was beginning to take its toll on him. But of course life had to give him one more slap on the ass before he could really call it a day. He was simply minding his business as he walked through the halls on his way out of the school when a smiling girl with brown wavy hair skipped out right in front of him, making him jump back in surprise. Sehun was sent flying backwards as he tripped over a sneaker clad foot, he grunts in pain after landing flat on his back. When he opens his eyes he is surprised to see two girls sneering down at him. Passer-by's stop to watch the scene laughing when one of the girls stomps a foot on the boy's chest. Sehun wheezes as the girls sneaker is brought down upon his chest none too gently, he opens his mouth to protest against the girls actions but is silenced when her cocky voice speaks out first.
"Look at the new boy, he looks so cute when he's scared! Right Taeyeon?"
The other girl just snickers just snickers quietly at her friends remark. Sehun is just about to speak out again when another voice interrupts him. Again.
"Just leave him alone Krystal, stop being a fucking bitch all of the time"
Sehun tenses as he hears the familiar voice call out, he sucks in a deep breath when the girl begins to slowly add pressure to his chest.
"Aw don't be like thaa-" Her pouty voice turns into a squeal when Sehun grabs her ankle and pushes it away, making her lose balance and fall straight on her ass.
The people watching the scene begin to laugh and point at the mortified girl, she stands and storms off leaving Taeyeon to rush after her. Sehun stands there in a daze until he feels a light tap on the shoulder, he turns to find him self face to face with the last person he'd expected to see.
He is deemed speechless when the familiar boy hands him his backpack with a small smirk.
"Uh, T-thank you" he stutters.
"I thought you didn't know how to speak English" the boy teases.
"I thought you couldn't speak Korean!" Sehun cries.
The boy from the plane laughs, sending butterflies straight to Sehun's stomach.
"Well it's nice to know you remember me then, Sehun-ah"
"Sehun-ah? How are you sure you're older than me?"
"fine then, how old are you?"
Sehun's heart thumps loudly in his chest and he's almost afraid the other will hear it.
"I'm Sixteen, born on the twelfth of April"
"Ha! I'm older!" He says smugly.
"I suppose I should call you Hyung then?" Sehun says shyly.
"Aww my cute little Dongsaeng!" The boy sing songs making Sehun snort, he reaches a hand out with a big smile still plastered on his face.
"I'm Jongin by the way".
