Sehun sat at the dinner table with his Mother that night just chatting away about his first day at his new school, he couldn't control the butterflies that rose up in his stomach when he spoke about meeting Jongin again. His Mother smiled and responded equally as excited, asking all about his teachers and the other students. The conversation carried on until they heard a car pull up to the driveway with a honk. "That's probably your father", Sehun shot her a confused look but went to go open the door for him. He was met with the sight of an unfamiliar car sitting in his driveway with his father sitting in the drivers seat.

"Ma! Did Dad get a new car?"

His mother appeared next to him shrugging with a sly smile, he turned his attention back to his father as he was exiting the car, he too had a suspicious grin on his face. He smiles back at his Father and raises an eyebrow.

"New car dad?"

"That's your new car son" He says clapping a hand over Sehun's shoulder.

They both try to hold back their laughter as their son trues to gauge the situation, he stands there for a moment looking slightly dazed before looking at his parents with surprised eyes.

"For me?! Why?!"

"We wanted you to have a car so you can move about the town without having to ask us all the time, not that we mind, but we can't always be here to help you out as you know".

Sehun feels so grateful for his parents as his dad presses the car keys into his palm, he looks down to see a little bow wrapped around it. He nearly screams when he sees the Lexus logo above the 'lock' and 'unlock' buttons.

"Dad! Why'd you get me a Lexus?! A simpler car would've sufficed!"

"You deserve the best son"

Sehun feels tears spring into his eyes as he hugs his parents, he's overwhelmingly happy but he knows that there's a catch to all of this. Sehun sighs and pulls away, looking at his parents sadly.

"You're going away again aren't you?"

His parents look at each other for a moment before turning to him.

"We're sorry Sehunnie, we know you've just made a big move and your starting a new school but we have no choice or we'll lose our jobs".

Sehun looks away feeling terrible, he feels bad for his parents but he's also mad that they leave him alone a lot, they talk a bit more before Sehun excuses himself to go to his room, he says one lasts thanks and disappears up the stairs.

When he reaches his room he walks over to his window bay and sits down, pulling his knees up to his chest.  He rests his head on his arms, feeling tears trickledown his face. He really wanted someone to talk to, he wanted to cry and tell someone how sad he was that his parents were hardly home, he wanted to get all excited about his new car and cruise around the town with somebody. But he had no one.

His thoughts drifted to Jongin, he longed to be that boy's friend, he felt the happiest he'd ever been in a while when he was talking to the older boy.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a familiar prick at the side of his head, Goosebumps raised on his arms as the feeling of being watched suddenly came upon him, he looked out the window to find a pair of glowing eyes staring back at him from the trees. He froze as he stared into the mismatched eyes unnerved by the blue and brown orbs, the eyes turned up into crescents as if smiling. His heart began to beat too fast and his breath came out in short puffs. He stood up and stumbled away from the window to the white bottle sitting in his nightstand, he opened it up and dropped a couple of pills into his hand before bringing them to his mouth and swallowing them dry. He grabbed his pillow from his bed and left his room making his way downstairs, he went to his parents room and knocked on the door timidly as tears dropped down his face.

He opened the door to find his parents looking at him worriedly, his mother scoots over and pats the space between her husband and herself.  He crawls over the bed and settles between his parents, he curls into his mothers side and sobs softly as she runs her hands his through his hair comfortingly. His father pats his back letting him tire himself out.

"Shhh it's okay baby, don't cry Sehunnie" his mother whispers.

Eventually his sobs die down and he drifts off to sleep.

"Sehunnie"

He's woken up by his mother shaking his shoulder gently, a yawn escapes from his mouth as rubs his eyes with his fist. His mother smiles as she's reminded of him as a young child.

"Sehunnie are you okay to go to school today? I can call them and tell them that you're feeling unwell"

Sehun shakes his head and gives a small smile, he gets up from the bed and gives her a hug. "I'll be fine ma, are you leaving now?" He asks eyeing her suitcase.

She nods sadly "I'm sorry Sehun"

He shakes his head again, "Like I said, I'll be fine"

She smiles and gives him a hug, "Your father has already left but he told me to tell you that he'll put more money in your card for food okay? Also call me if you need anything ok honey?"

"okay ma" He squeezes her tight in another hug.

"Okay, love you sweetheart, be safe"

"Love you ma"

He sighs as she walks out the door and turns to trudge up the stairs to his room, as he walks in he tries not to look at the window, afraid of frightening himself again.  He moves to the wardrobe to pick out an outfit for the day before walking to the bathroom. When he sees himself in the mirror he groans, his eyes are puffy and his nose is slightly red. He jumps in the shower quickly scrubbing his body and brushing his teeth, he gets out and dries himself thoroughly, throws on his clothes and leaves the bathroom. He grabs his bag and keys before walking downstairs and out the door.

When he arrives at school he walks to class trying to keep his head down, trying not to draw attention to his tired face. He saunters into his roll class and takes his seat at the back of the class. He slumps forward and rests his head on the desk, already wanting the day to be over. A groan slips out of his throat but he doesn't care if people stare.

"You look like shit" a cocky voice snickers from beside him.

"Why don't you just fu-"

His voice catches as he looks into the boys big blue eyes. Images of the eyes outside his window flash through his mind, making him lose focus until everything goes black.
