Chapter 4
We hadn't been getting far on our case. We had no idea who or what could be killing people in a way that they are.  Sasayama seems to have found something or trying to find something so we decided to head out and search around, of course with Ginoza knowing. I didn't really know where Kogami was. I had seen him earlier that day drinking coffee with Sasayama and I like we usually did. But he wasn't in the office so we decided to leave without him
After a while of searching we split up to look for more clues. I looked around the main floor while Sasayama was looking in the alleyway. I'm guessing it wasn't the best idea to split up with an insane killer on the loose, but we wanted to look around a little. I turned a corner and ran into something hard. I rubbed my head thinking that I was an idiot for running into a wall, when I noticed that it wasn't a wall, but Kogami. He turned around with the dominator pointed at me. "Wait, Kogami! It's me Yuki!" I yell. He let out a sigh. "Yuki what are you doing here?" He whispers. "Sasayama and I decided to come and investigate the area, and why are we whispering?" I reply back. "Wait Sasayama is here?!" He exclaims. "Where is he?" He says a little bit louder. "I don't know. We split up to cover more area..." I explain but before I finished I heard him curse to himself, before running down the hall I had come from. "Kogami please tell me what's going on. Is Sasayama in trouble?" I yell to him. "The killer we've been after is still in this building, this seems to be one of his bases." He explains. Then it clicked. If we were in one of the killers bases then the things he has to make his disgusting "art" then he has the means to do it to anyone. "Where was the last time you saw him?" He asks. I was running out of breath, but I somehow got it out. "The alleyway next to the building." I say. After I said that he seemed to get more energy and started sprinting faster than he was before. I was getting worried and scared. For the first time in almost 17 years I was feeling scared, and I didn't like it.
After going down a few flights of stairs we bursted out the door and into the empty and abandoned street. "Sasayama!" I yell out. There was no reply. Kogami started running before he stopped in front of the ally, his eyes wide open. I walked to him and slowly moved my head to see what he was looking at. What I was looking at made me throw up in my mouth but I had to keep it in. We had found Sasayama, but not how we wanted to. We found him twisted and broken in ways that was unimaginable, limbs and body parts press around, plastered into place to make a sculpture of some sort. But the worse part of it was his face. With the plaster set it showed the last terrible and painful moments before his death. It was a scene that no one should see.

It had been about a month or so since Sasayamas death, and Kogami didn't take it very well. His Psycho pass was getting worse as the days went on. I was getting really worried for him. He was almost starting to obsess over finding the person who had killed Sasayama. After a few hours at our desks I noticed him get up and walk out without saying where he was going. But I had a feeling I knew where he was going. I quickly finished the paper I was working on and quickly walked after him. I couldn't explain how worried I was about him. I walked into the gym area and saw him fighting a robot, practicing his skills. He was shirtless but I didn't care at the moment. He beat up the robot until it was no longer working and noticed that I was there. He didn't say anything. "Kogami you need to be careful about your psycho pass, I understand you want to find the person who killed Sasayama I do as well, and I'm sure everyone else wants to as well." I explain to him. He doesn't look at me and goes on to find another robot to beat up. Before he could walk away I grabbed his hand and he stopped. "Please Kogami stop going down this path, I don't want you to turn out like me, being a person hated by society. I don't want anyone to become that, including you." I say. He didn't say anything and walked away, and he chose his path. There was nothing more I could do.
