Summer love

Chapter 12: good bye.

I wake up to an empty house. I walk downstairs. The house is so quiet no boys anywhere.

On my laptop is a note from Niall

"Katie we will be back later we are out promoting love u-Niall"

I smile at the note then put it down. I walk to the Kitchen and open the fridge what to have what to have.

I close the door after a couple minutes because nothing really catches my eye.

I walk back upstairs and head to the washroom. I brush my teeth , after i head to my room and put a nice floaral sundress i had purchased in cancoon, 

i head back to the washroom and apply my usauall foundation concealer and eyemakeup. After im done i curl my hair. I go back to my room when i hear a knock on the door.

Weird who would be at the door? i walk down the stairs hesitatily, a step down one , when i hear another knock and the sound of highheels tapping like the person is annoyed. I contine going down. the stairs creak under my feet. So the people who are there are bound to know im there. When i reach the bottom there is another knock. I jump not expecting it. I walk up to the door and look through the peep hole..

mom and dad? 

I open the door. i see there annoyed faces. 

''What are you guys doing here?'' i say confused as they walk in ignoring my question.

''well nice to see you too katie,'' My father says kissing me on the cheek. My mother is looking around the flat. 

''Its nice to see you guys, but i wanna know why your here? Summer isnt over for another 2 weeks you were to come on sunday, of next week.'' i say confused and irritated tone.

''Well, we came early. Its time for you to come home. '' my mother said smiling. 

I froze. ll of a sudden The boiys walk in. 

''MOM DAD WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE,?'' liam yells then runs to my mother and hugs her. I see tears come down her face, Its been awhile since shes seen her son, 

I step over to niall. He looks puzzeled then mouths to me ''I though they were coming sunday?''

I look at him with tears in my eyes. Then grab his hand and pull him upstairs.

The rest of the boys mingle with my parents not noticing us slip away from the rest.We walk into my room and i grab a suitecase out from the closet and throw it on my bed. 

''Wait what are you doing'' niall asks me.

At this point i have tears coming down my face. ''Im leaving, today.'' I walk to the dresser and put all the contains in the drawer into my suitecase. 

''No no this cant be'' niall protests as he runs his hands through is hair and pases around the room. ''Please no'' 

I wipe the tears from my face and contuine packing up my belongings. My parents call us down stiars. we both walk down and see liam,louis,harry and zayn sitting on the couch. 

''Please sit'' My mom says pointing to the couch. Niall and me sit by zayn then my parernts start talking.

''I know what you all are thinking, we are here early. but we planned this from the begging, we drove up here so we could see liam, and take katie home. Now i know its hard to say bye, but you're going to have to. We are gonna go out for dinner then head on the road. so kaite get your things packed then we will go out to dinner..''

my mother says then gestures me to go upstairs. I get up niall still holds onto my hand. I look at him in a way that makes him sigh and let get. 

I walk up stairs with no words. i dont turn around or anything just walk up, Half og my stuff already packed i just start to finish up. I can here the people down stairs mingling. but everything seems serieous mostly no laughing.

A couple hours later my mother comes up when im just about finished. 

''Knock knock'' She says then peeks her head in. 

''Oh hey'' i say not looking at her, still finishing zipping up my suite case. She sits on the bed. 

''Katie'' she says

I stop what im doing and look at her. She can tell im upset, she alwasy could. But ovbiously im upset. Im leaving my boyfriend, and brother and my 3 other best friends. 

''Yeah?'' i say in a calm tone not trying to sound to upset. She has pain in her eyes. 

''I've missed you alot, Your father doesn't like watching chick flicks and getting mani and pedi's with me..'' she says then softly laughs. She smiles a upset smile. I sit by her and lay my head on her shoulder.

''Im going to miss him so much mom.'' I say she embraces me. ''I know you will but it will be ok''

''I hope'' i say softly then get out of her arms. 

''Lets go to dinner now'' i say then grab my suit case i head out the door. then turn back to her

''You coming?'' i say smiling. 

She smiles '' Yep'' then gets up and helps me carry my 2 suit cases down stairs. sine i came 2 months ago i have accumilated more clothing then i came with. 

We get down stairs and my father takes the suite case im carrying and opens the door. I hear the trunck of the car pop open and he and my mother put my cases into the trunk. 

'Ok boys and katie lets go to dinner.

The whole dinner i was trying not to cry. It was hard. Seeing my quirky boyfriend and bestfriends knowning this is the last time im gonna eat with them. Then back to school. Also this is like my family being together again. Then its all gonna end .

Soon enough the dinner was over. And we all piled into the car silently and drove back to the flat.

We all walked into the flat. Awkward silence filled the room. Until liam spoke. 

''How about we all go out side and say goodbye there?'' They all looked at me and niall, then nodded in agreement. they all filed out of the house leaving behind me and my boyfriend. 

''Well, i didn't think it was gonna be this hard..'' niall said ''Well, yeah i did.'' 

He wrapped his arms around me. i heard him start to cry. I just laid my head in his chest. tears soon enough came out of my eyes. 

he let me go and then looked at me. He took his two thumbs and wiped the tears from my face. 

''Its gonna be ok we will be ok'' he said then tried to smile

i smiled back then hugged him. 

we went out side to join the others. My mom and dad were inside the car. I went over to Zayn

''Ill miss you'' he said then hugged me. 

''Ill miss you too, keep in touch ok'' i said then let go of him. 

Louis was next. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes, then hugged me . 

''it will be alright'' he whispered then tried to smile. 

I hugged harry next. By him i wsa crying again. its so hard saying by to them. 

Last was liam. I hugged him. ''It will be fine! you will see all of us again.''he said trying to resure me. i smiled at him then i walked over to niall. 

'' Katie time to get going'' my dad honked then started the engine 

''Ok'' i yelled back. 

I looked at niall. 

''I love you'' he said. 

''I love you more'' i said

''Forever and always?'' 

I nodded ''forever and always'' i said then wrapped my arms arouind his neck placesing my lips on his. In that moment it was just us. It was a pefect kiss.

I smiled then hugged him one last time. 

I walked to the car then got in. I buckled up. Soon as i know it we were backing out of the driveway heading back to wolverhampton.
