Summer love

Chapter 13:

   The drvie home is quiet, my mom and dad whispering to eachother because they though i was sleeping. I tried to, my eyes sore from the goodbye crying.  Soon enough my mother was passed out in the front seat. I sit up and grab my phone. I have texts from my bestfriend Hannah asking to hang out, i scroll more, texts from local boys with awkward ''heys'' with winky faces. But no text from niall. 

I lay back and sigh, My dad turns around and smiles. 

''hey sleepy'' He says in a quiet tone trying not to wake my mom. I give him a tired smile.  He turns back to the highway. 

''So are you excited to see Hannah once again?'' he asks, i head hurt in hhis voice, like he knows i don't wanna come home. 

''Yeah actually i have tons to tell her..'' i say then traill off. ''Dad..'' 

''Yeah hon?'' he replys with a happier smile

''Its nice to see you again'' 

He smiled then focuses more on driving, I lay back and put in my ear phones and close my eyes, trying to drain my head out of all the thoughts and the conclusongs i have about Niall not texting me.

A cold breeze blows onto me, I open my eyes and see my mother standing there with the car door open. I look wround then get up and strech. 

''Home sweet home'' my mother says then the car trunk opens, my mom and dad walk my stuff into the house. I look around for my phone. I pull it out from between the two seats. A text from hannah shows up. 

''YOURE HOME IM COMING OVER SLEEP OVER TONIGHT I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU''

I reply ''come over in like 2 hours i have to get settled  :)'' i press send then get out of the car and walk up the pathway into my home. i open the door, a little dog runs to me. My parents stand infront of me. 

''DO you like him, his name is Bruno''my mom says reach down ans lifting him up. Bruno is the most adorable dog, the breed is a puppy german sheppard. I take him from my mother, he starts licking my face, 

''He likes you already,'' my dad says then walks into the basement my mom smiles at me then follows my dad.

Bruno starts to squirm so i put him down. 

i look around my house and breath in. I missed home, i walk up the stairs looking at the pictures of little liam and myself on the walls. I get into my bedroom and see my two suitecases i walk over and unzip it. a bunch of my new clothing spills out. i grab hangers and start hanging everything up.

After i finished putting my suitecase stuff away i make my bed then lay in it. Bruno comes running and and jumps beside me 

''Hey buddy i never got to introduce myself to you im katie'' i say in a googoo voice, he came and laid beside me, i grab my phone and look at it. still no text from niall. its been atleast 5 hours since i left london. Not even a ''did you get home safe'' message. I look at bruno

''Do you think me and Niall will last?'' i say thinking he will answer me

He looks at me then lays his head on my cheast looking up at me. 

Suddenly i get a message from Hannah, Right on time. 

''hey im coming over now'' 

I get up and  walk down stairs, I can hear brunos nails tapping on the hardwood floors, knowing his following me.  I get to the door and open it, knowing Hannah is right there. Seh comes in and wraps her arms around me. 

''IVE MISSED YOU SO MUCH YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU GOT A DOG'' she says then runs to Bruno.

''yeah my parents got him for me while i was gone'' i say then go over and start petting bruno aswel
