Chapter 22

*Friday Morning*

Alex brushed her hair to one side as she applied a light coat of make up. Yesterday Smackdown was pretty normal but one weird thing did happen.

*Flashback*

*Smackdown*

Alex strolled through the halls of the arena still feeling unbelievably  embarrassed about her encounter with Dean earlier.

Alex heard a familiar laugh and looked down the crowed hallway to see the man she was now officially avoiding: Dean Ambrose.

Dean was sitting on a crate having a convocation with R-Truth. He was laughing and both his dimples showed as he smiled at whatever R-Truth was telling him.

Alex froze on the spot. Dean looked down the hall and they made eye contact.

Dean's classic smirk slowly made its way to his lips. Alex turned slightly red then panicked for some unknown reason. She spun around and sped walked down the hall in the opposite direction of Dean.

Alex didn't even pay attention to where she walking. She ran smack into someone who almost fell but caught their balance.

Renee Young.

"Sorry about that." Alex apologized.

"It's okay."

Alex nodded and she was about to walk off but Renee spoke again.

"I was actually looking for you."

"Oh for what? An interview or something?"

"No... um I was actually wondering if you would be interested in going out to breakfast with me tomorrow morning?" Renee asked with a small smile.

Alex was confused and shocked.

"Well ugh..."

"It's just that you've been here for years and not once have I really gotten the chance to really talk or get to know you."

"Well okay that seems cool." Alex agreed.

"Awesome I'll meet you in the main lobby of the hotel at 8:30?"

"Yeah that's good. See you then." Alex said, walking away.

"Okay bye." Renee said.

*Present*

Alex  finally decided to put her hair in a high pony tail. It was getting too hot to have all her hair all over her all the time.

She put on some pink strawberry lip balm then looked herself over in the mirror. 

Alex had on a romper covered in flowers, a tan light cardigan, with some nice tan heels. She was pleased with how she looked.

Alex plugged out her phone that was on the charger and she grabbed her sunglasses as well. She then left her room and she saw Kane talking on the phone.

Alex sent a simple wave his way before she left the suite. When Alex got to the lobby she did indeed see Renee.

Renee gave her a quick hug which was kinda awkward. The two soon started walking to their destination since the small diner they were eating at was only two blocks away from the hotel.

The diner was called Breakfast Club. Alex chuckled at the irony.

They sat in a booth and started small talk. They got their drinks and already put their orders in.
