Star Wars: the only hope

Chapter 3

They all broke into a sprint. Viera knew something was happening , her heart was pounding fast. She entered Padme's room before Anakin and continue running through the elegant room , determined  she jumped breaking the window , million pieces of glass flied around her. In a blink of an eye she was holding the droid just as Obi-wan would have done.

The droid flew among speeders in the opposite direction   , Viera was scared , one or twice she almost crahsed with a speeder .The droid dodge them easily. She felt the wind in her skin.Before they shot at her , she got one hand on her light saber making sure she was strong enough with one hand to keep her form falling. A strange sensation started to form down her spine , the force alert her.

She ignited her light saber and moved it covering her hands , she bloqued the shot returning it  to the mysterious sniper. She hadn't been focusing to where the droid was heading. Suddenly she looked  in front of her , a big building was a few meters of her ,  it was black and the windows were polarized. They reflected all the city  , to her great luck the droid continued flying towards it.

"Damn it" she muttered figuring out what to do.

She looked down at her , Obi-Wan wasn't there. He must be following Anakin- she tought. Viera got ready for the impact ,  the glass shattered as easily as it had done on Padme's room. -crack- she rolled two times finally landing on her feet.The room was white , there was a gray desk and a little living room.It  was very organized and elegant except for the fact that the window was broken , several pices of glass had spread on the room carpet.

Viera felt a little cut on her cheek , as well as in her hand but she ignored it. "Obi-wan do you copy me?" she asked through her communicator.

"Viera?! what the heck happened?!!" he asked worried.

"Uh...long story but I have the droid" she said trying to focuse.

"You need to bring it ,  maybe we can track the assassin with it" Obi explained "hey , are you alright?"

-I almost crash with several speeders , fell of the droid and finally passed trough a window-but she didn't said it "I'm fine , i'll catch up with you" she said getting up  on her feet.  With one hand she grabbed the droid but it was too heavy to carry. Instead she drag it. When she got into the hall she noticed several people looking at the scene. 

"Jedi affairs , go back to your activities" she said patiently looking at them. Some seconds after ,  they were gone.

Quickly she found an elevator at the end of the hall , she goT in  and pressE the botton to the rooftop. Seconds felt like hours , still , adrenaline ran on her blood. The elevator stopped and the door opened ,  ther room was full of speeders . Viera got into the first one she saw. It was a red one with three seats , she had put the droid in one.

Moments later she flew through Couruscant streets , finally she found the bar were Anakin and Obi-Wan were. She parked the speeder and jumped out of it , running toward the entrance. Just when she entered she saw a blue light and then all the attention was on Obi-Wan.

"Jedi affairs , go back to your drinks" Anakin explained trying to calm everyone.

Viera walked to them. Obi-wan and Anakin were heading the transformist out of the bar. They put her down on the floor.

"Hey we have company" she told them looking up at a bounty hunter. He wore a jet pack and some kind of blue and gray colored protection.

"Go into the bar , now!" Obi-wan ordered.

Without doubt Viera helped Anakin get her into the bar , quickly Obi-wan ignited his blue light saber getting infront of the two padawans . The bounty hunter shot at him but he easily bloqued the shots. Just as that happened the bounty hunter was gone , he had escaped.

Obi entered the club with one hand in his beard thinking about the situation. As soon as he found them he was relieved.

"What was that?"Anakin asked glancing at Viera.

"You really think I know? I'm just as lost as you are" Viera answered with her hands in the air.She lied.

"You are hurt" he said touching her cheek. The injury wasn't too big but it was dee.p

She felt Anakin's hand on her ,   his touch made her feel something similar to electricity. She had forgotten about the injury  as well as the one of her hand. But insted of saying anything she stayed in slience waiting for them to talk. Anakin quit his hand of her and looked at Obi-wan.

"We must get the transformist to the temple , she will be interrogate" Obi-wan said calmly "And you need some stitches"

                                                                   .....

Obi-Wan , Anakin and Viera standed on the council chamber. There was a change on the mission. Anakin was looking at his feet while Viera meet the master's gazes.

"After interrogating the transmorfist , we got new infromation ; it's unbelivable" Mace Windu said frowning. Anakin wondered what it was.

"If you don't mind master , what information?" Obi-Wan asked concerned about the situation.

"She said she worked for Kaminoans , what makes it strange is that we don't have that planet on our data. It doesn't appear" master mundi answered.

"track down that bounty hunter you must Obi-Wan , if the planet does exist you shall found it" Windu said looking calm.

"Most importantly , find who he's working for" he added.

Obi-Wan didn't look very convinced "what will happen with Senator Amidala?" he asked corncerned.

"Handle that  the padawans will" Yoda said looking at Anakin and Viera. She noticed Anakin nervousness.

"Anakin , Viera" Windu said catching both  attention "you will escort senator Amidala back to Naboo.She'll be safe there. And don't use registered transport: travel as refugees"

"As leader of the opposition , it will be difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital" Anakin said  insecure. Viera frowned -oh , you the leather of the oposition? come on-.

"Unitl caught the killer is , our jugdment she must respect" Yoda replied firmly.

All three jedi bowed , then made their way to the exit.
