Star Wars: the only hope

Chapter 4

Since Viera had been assigned with Anakin to protect the senator , she had passed several hours meditating on her room. She wondered what should happen between Anakin and Padme , after all , he turned to the dark side trying to save her from her "death."-Maybe if he doesn't fall for her then perhaps he doesn't go on that path-she thought.

But after living on that dark tragic future, she knew love was the most powerful thing in the universe , sometimes love makes you do the most crazy things or it breaks you on a thousand pieces but at the end , only love can save us.

Tomorrow they would go with Padme to Naboo , everything would pass on that days. Maybe , what would define some of their future , for good or bad. Without a plan the only help she could have wasn't her faith, it was master Yoda. He was the most powerful jedi and the wisest. If she tells him about what she was send for then maybe she would have his help.

She was decided, she opened her eyes and got up of the floor. As soon as she was out of her room she started running through the jedi temple. She passed a lot of jedi knights as well as younglings, after some minutes of running she slowed down finally arriving to a meditation room.

She slowly entered the room hoping she wouldn't be interrupting him. The room jalousies were closed , letting only a few sunrays enter. In front of her was master yoda , sat on a cushion , eyes closed. He was levitating his ightsaber. Viera tought it would be better if she returned latter , she turned around just when yoda spoke.

"Something important , to tell me you have" he said opening his eyes.

"I do , master" she answered steping a few meters infront of him "is something that involves everyone in this temple and in this galaxy"

"Then tell me you must" he said patiently pointing at a couch , Viera felt nervous but she sat down hoping the right words to come out.

She told him about how when she was shot she had a vision with Qui-Gon , the mission he gave her , how Anakin would fall in love with Padme , the clone wars , dooko's dead , Anakin turning to the dark side , and finally how he ended being dark vather.

"I can't tell you who the sith is" she explained "at least not in this moment"

"mmm , afraid you are of something worse to happen" he arraign.

"I am master , what do you think will be the best to do?" she answered expecting him to say something wise.

"Already assigned the mission has been , we must not get any suspicion. Send another padawan to go with you I will"

"What about obi-wan?"

"After you leave to Naboo , alert him I will" he nodded.

"Thanks master" Viera said , she knew that with this , many jedis would live. She wondered who the padawan would be.

They were dressed as refugees. Anakin wore an oversized white t-shirt over his jedi robes while Viera wore a gray tank top instead of her normal black jedi top. They were waiting to take the transport that will take them too Naboo. They stood next to obi-wan and Padme.

"Viera , I trust you'll have all under control" Obi-Wan said with a smile. He knew she was a great jedi but he also knew how impulsive she could be ; just as Anakin.

"I hope so" Viera answered, she really hoped it. She moved towards Padme, letting Obi-Wan have some words with his padawan.

"Anakin" he said softly "don't do anything without consulting either I or the council"

"Yes master "Anakin replied indifferent.

"And don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything either" Obi-Wan added looking at both padawans "oh I almost forget to tell you, Ferus Olin will be going with you"

"What?! You got to be kidding me master" Anakin said angrily.

"You don't like him, don't you?" Viera asked amused. Of course she knew he didn't like him, they hated each other.

"No one does" Anakin replied frowning.

"Come on Anakin, is just a mission" obi-wan said with his arms crossed.

"It's no big deal" Viera completed.

"Uh... of course not! It's just a mission that can end on months. Wait , we don't even know!" Anakin shouted.

Both Obi and Viera ignored him and started to laugh looking over his shoulder. In that moment Anakin knew what was happening. Ferus was behind him. He wore the same t-shirt as Anakin, he had dark hair and blue eyes.

"Hi" was all Ferus said.

Anakin didn't even bother to look at him. It seems Ferus was fine wth it , he wasn't pleased to work wih Anakin.

"Hello Ferus"Obi-Wan replied

Viera was containing her laugh while Anakin was serious trying to act as if Ferus didn't exist, of course his attempt failed.

"This is padawan Morlev" Obi-Wan said glancing at her.

"HI" she said looking at his eyes. He held her gaze.

"Hey" he replied with a smile "I have heard a lot about you"

"Really?" she asked surprised, he didn't know him and now he was telling her about her adventures.

"Well, yeah. My master told me about that time when you-

"We got it" Anakin said cutting him off.

"Anakin..." Obi-Wan started giving him a dead glaze.

"It's time to go" Anakin said stepping off of the shuttle.

"I hadn't realized" Ferus answered sarcastically but Anakin ignored him.

"May the force be with you, young ones" Obi-Wan called after them.

They replied the same, just when Viera was about to grab a suitcase , Ferus offered to carry it. She accepted it with a smile and continue walking. Viera could feel the anger of Anakin, he was silence with his look at the distance.

"Suddenly I am scared" Padme said silently.

"Don't be, you have two jedis escorting you" he said smiling at her. He tried to ignore the fact that Ferus flirted with Viera. They have a long journey ahead.
