Kimbra Prospect watched from the second story porch as a black car pulled up in front of the main building of the motel. No one new ever showed up to the motel because it was 15 miles outside of the nearest town and Tyvor, the alpha leader of their pack, overpriced the place. Kimbra knew this person had to be of werewolf-decent to have even heard of this place.
Two more cars pulled up and she watched a group of men enter the building. She turned and went back into her room and locked the door behind her. She kept her small room and attached bathroom neat and clean, organizing gave her something to do on the long days she was kept up here.
She had a distant relative who was a werewolf so she had a small amount of the gene in her. She would never be a werewolf but she could be a werewolf's mate which is why Tyvor had brought her here. She hadn't wanted this at first and he had kept her locked up in this room. Now she knew she had no where else to go and Tyvor's threat also kept her here.
"If you run, we'll track you down and we'll kill you."
No one had claimed her and she prayed no one ever would. Werewolves were dominating and pushy and plain out mean. She hoped Tyvor was wrong about the gene thing or that she was so far descended from her relative that it was nearly non-existent.
Someone knocked on her door. She pulled back the deadbolt and opened the door to find Thorton, one of Tyvor's henchmen.
"Tyvor wants you in the office." Kimbra just nodded and followed him outside, pulling her door shut behind her.
She entered the office building by the back door and followed Thorton into the large nicely furnished office.
"Ahh, hello Kimbra." Tyvor dressed in his normal suit stood up and greeted her. Even though she was human, mostly, and not even his mate, he was far to old for her, she was his prized possession. She was beautiful with dark hair and brown eyes. She was small though, only 16 and small for her age even then.
The five well dressed men stood from their seats and turned towards her. Five pairs of golden eyes attached to her, inspecting her. Two of the men were Tyvor's age, one seemed about 20, the other two had to be 18 at the youngest. Kimbra said nothing, Tyvor had taught to be silent.
"These are our newest residents," Tyvor smiled charmingly, first at her and then around the room. "You can go." He dismissed her with a wave. Thorton gave her a rough push towards the door and followed her out.
He went out the back door, but Kimbra headed towards the kitchen down the hall the main living area and dining room. She found some cereal and made herself a bowl. She at the table in the kitchen for the staff, who weren't around and ate slowly.
The door swung open and Corbin entered and sat down across from her.
"So you got to meet the new guys?" Corbin smirked at her. He was just as mean as Tyvor, which wasn't surprising since he was his son
"Yes." She continued eating, not looking up at him.
"Did any of then claim you as their own?" Corbin mocked. She glared him and stood up. She placed her half eaten bowl in the sink and left quickly.
