"Hello boys and girls!!" Exclaims Mrs Johnstead over enthusiastically. I don't bother paying any attention. She's only going to introduce the new girl who obviously will hate me like everyone else in the room. In the school. I don't care. They're all idiots.

"This is Marlene smith!" Mrs Johnstead explains. The girl, who is standing at the front of the class looking extremely bored, has glossy black hair and striking blue eyes. There's something about her that makes you look at her. Mrs Johnstead gives me a cringeworthy glance of pity. I try not to look interested. I know what's going to happen next.

The teachers are always feeling sorry for me; it can get pretty embarrassing. I suppose they are trying to help me but it most defiantly doesn't help. About a year ago, my old teacher told me to look after the new girl, Alisha. She had blonde hair and was drop dead gorgeous. I ended up being extremely gullible and telling her all of my most private secrets. Consequently, she exposed them to the entire school.

But this girl seemed....different. Her blue eyes found my grey ones and she smiled for the first time. "You can trust me." She whispered seriously.
Instantly, i believed her. And I hoped I wouldn't regret it.
