After spending most of his day in the lab, Don finally went back inside the house to grab coffee and some food. Sure, he may have been avoiding Casey like the plague, but who'd blame him? They had nothing in common besides liking April- there was no reason for them to 'get along'.
As he filled the mug, Don glanced around the kitchen in mild anticipation. It was quiet.
Too quiet.
After he swallowed half the cup of his much needed, caffeinated substance he stepped toward the cabinet and pulled out a box of Oreos. Just as the turtle was about to make a quick get away, Casey stepped in and blocked the path.
"Hey Don, where ya goin'?" The turtle frowned at the teen, Casey simply grinning in response. Really, it was unfair that they left him with Casey of all people.
"Back to the lab. Where else?" Trying to make the conversation quick, Don decided the best route was to start walking for the door. He lightly shouldered Casey from his path and started for his destination.
Sadly, it seemed Casey either couldn't take a hint, or wasn't finished annoying Donnie just yet.
"What're you making anyway? And what's with the oreos?" He continued to follow, not at all caring when Donnie attempted to slam the front door in his face.
"What I'm making isn't and never will be any of your bussiness, and I happen to like oreos, thank you very much. " He stopped mid-way to the barn-turned-lab, initiating a stare down with Casey. Why couldn't the puck-head just leave him be?
The remaining human of the house crossed his arms, a cocky half grin never once leaving his expression. It was infuriating. "Sounds like something big. Is it gonna be cool?"
In this moment, Donatello swore he was seconds away from smacking Caset over the head with the oreos. "Like I said, my bussiness. Not yours. I'm going back to the lab now. Stay out." He didn't wait for a response, instead turning and walking the rest of the way to his destination.
Once inside, he locked the door, set down his spoils and set to work once again. Casey Jones be damned.
