Castiel patiently rides the bus to the little café. He still doesn't know the name of the quaint place. He steps off the bus and a rush of anxiety hits him. His heart sinks to his stomach and he begins to panic. He tries to calm his nerves as much as possible in the few minutes he has until Dean shows up. He breathes slowly savoring each and every bit of oxygen he takes in. His heart beat begins to slow down and he begins to relax.
Cas waits anxiously for Dean, fearing that he had forgotten him. A gentle purr of an engine pulls up behind him. Cas quickly turns and floods with relief when he sees it is Dean. The creaky door opens and Dean walks up to him. "Sup buddy. I'm glad I could help you. But I was thinking I could take you to a place I like to eat."

"Um sure. Just not too expensive please."

"It's not. Plus it's totally worth the money you pay." Dean chuckles.

"I'm going to take your word for it. Where is it?"

"Don't worry. I'll get you there. Just hop in and relax."

"I'll try." Cas tries to joke.

"Don't worry I won't bite."

Dean smirks and Cas couldn't help the chills that ran down his spine. He uses the sleeve of his trench coat to wipe away the beads of sweat collecting around his temple. Castiel awkwardly fiddles with his fingers to prevent himself from looking up at Dean. And Cas knows that if he looks he won't stop staring. Dean quickly catches on and turns the radio on to fill the silence. Avenged Sevenfold comes on and Dean settles back into his seat. Instinctively Cas reaches for the radio and turns the volume up. A small smile illuminates Dean face as Cas begins to feel comfortable in this beautiful car.
The sun is setting over New York and what little view of the ocean is glimmering with the reflection of the orange and violet sky. Cas looks up mesmerized as the two colors mix and fade into a deep shade of blue. He wishes he had some sort of art ability so he could recreate this natural beauty and love it everyday. Cas lost track of time and where he was until he felt the car jolt and the engine stop. "We're here."

Dean wraps his arm around Cas' shoulder and guides him into a lightly decorated building. Ricki's is written across the front. A huge grin covers Dean's face as he walks in. Memories come flooding back and Dean couldn't be happier. He he had to share it with this stranger. Dean glances in Castiel's direction and just the way his black hair settles above his glorious blue eyes just melts his insides. Dean walks over to the booth he always sits at. He pats the seat next to him and immediately notices the blood rush into Cas' cheeks. He feels embarrassed and swings his arm to signal the seat across from him. He mentally slaps himself for doing that. "What were you thinking? " He mentally yells. But he doesn't let that effect the smile he has on his face when Castiel sits down.

" So, Dean, why did you bring me here? "

Dean blanks for a moment but quickly recovers. " This place has the best burgers in New York. Trust me I eat here as often as I can. It's too good to pass up. "

"Ok I'll try it."

The words that just came out of Castiel's mouth made Dean's day and he couldn't wait for the waiter to come take their orders. Dean was planning on ordering for the both of them because he knew the menu by heart. What seems like hours later a young woman with curly, blonde hair and bright red lipstick comes. She eyes both of them but she begins to direct all her attention to Cas. Dean could feel the anger boiling inside of him but he holds it back because he doesn't want to scare him. She leans forward so her cleavage shows and it is obvious Cas is uncomfortable with this.
"You know you have the most stunning eyes I have ever seen in my life?"

" Um, thank you. Can we please order?"

"Sure sugar, what would you like?"

Dean clears his throat. "We would like two Mega Man Delights."

" Um can I get a water too."

"Sure darling , anything for you. " She walks away from the table.

"Dude, was that a flirtation?"

Dean couldn't help but laugh. " Have you never been hit on? "

" I don't know if I have. I don't really know how to do that."

" I'll try to help you out."
"By that you mean keep him all to yourself?" He nearly spits out the water he was drinking.

"Are you ok? " Cas asks concerned.

" Yeah it was just the wrong pipe."

The two sit in comfortable silence until the burgers are delivered to the booth. Dean doesn't hesitate to dig in. His first bite made Cas' mouth water and he begins to eat. His mouth exploded with flavor with that one bite and he was hooked. He could not stop until there was nothing left.

Cas has never tasted something so good before. He smiled to show his gratitude towards Dean. Dean's hand shoots out and touches Cas' face removing the mustard that was sitting there. Cas' eyes go wide and Dean burns bright red and removes his hand.

"Sorry you had mustard on your face so I was trying to help." Dean quickly breathes out.

"It's ok. Thank you for not letting me embarrass myself."

"Yeah, no problem. I think it's time we go."

"Sure." Cas agrees with sadness lacing his voice.

They both step in the car and the purr of the engine gently pulls Cas into a wonderful dream.
