A few weeks passed, Over the following weeks, Jeongguk made it a habit to bring Vante to the tree, hoping that the familiar surroundings would jog his memory. He would sit beside him on the swing, or under the old tree, silently willing Vante to remember something - anything - from his past.

But No matter how many times Jeongguk brought Vante back to the garden, nothing triggered his memory. Vante simply enjoyed each moment for what it was - a peaceful escape from the palace, a chance to feel the wind in his hair, and to watch the sun set over the beautiful garden.

Eventually Jeongguk too realized that trying to force Vante's memory back was useless so He decided to stop dwelling on the past and simply enjoy the present.
It didn't matter if Vante remembered their shared history or not; what mattered was that Vante was by his side, that they were together now.

As time went on, their daily routine began to change.
They started to fall into an unspoken rhythm, a comfortable dynamic that mirrored a typical married relationship..

" Vante~~come here quick~ where are the documents which I need to give them to King Park Sejong " Jeongguk called out, his voice firm but not unkind, as he hastily put on his shoes..

Vante who was cooking breakfast quickly dried his hands on his apron before grabbing the documents and rushing to Jeongguk " here I have already sorted them according to important things , so you can just take them directly to the king "

Jeongguk nodded, grabbing the documents in one hand, while the other hand of his gently brushed against Vante's cheek, tenderly dusting off the wisps of wheat flour that clung to vante's cheeks " You are a prince. You shouldn't be cooking breakfast like this.
I can hire maids for that "

Vante pouted dramatically, fake tears welling up in his eyes as he jokingly accused Jeongguk. " You don't have to try and spare my feelings by saying I shouldn't cook. Just say outright that you dislike my culinary skills, Your Highness "

Jeongguk, whose non-human instincts didn't comprehend the art of fake tears, felt a surge of panic as he gazed into Vante's eyes "No, your cooking is the best! I genuinely mean it, you are a prince, you don't have to cook. I can arrange for maids to take care of that for you "

Vante's suspicious mind immediately jumped to conclusions, He thought to himself, crossing his arms over his chest " So He wants to bring his concubines here as maids? Over my dead body, I wouldn't let anyone disturb my peace "
