Your ship washes up on the sandy shore of a place unfamiliar to you. The sand in the distance is.. Soaked in red. How could this be? Perhaps it's only the blood of an animal from some hungry canine, you reassure yourself as you step upon the sand. This looks nothing like Sparta.. Your ship drifted off here last night and you are now stranded here with no means of- WHAT IN THE WORLD..? You spot nearly a waterfall's worth of lava flowing down the entrance of some large area built by man. Who would place lava there? And why? Oh- but wait.. There's a chest along with a sign nearby it, covered in what appears to be blood and flesh. You step over and read the sign.
"A-jar-uh? Eh.. Aj-area?" You fail miserably to pronounce the foreign name carved into the bloody and wooden sign.
You then open the chest beside it and peek inside, only to find something truly gruesome and horrific. Human skins.. Flesh splattered all over.. Gnawed-on bones and blood splattered all over.. You see a book inside, stained in blood, and snatch it quickly, feeling nauseous. You open the book, titled 'Ajiarra'.
'Day 1... I have just arrived upon the shore and tamed a mighty stallion in which I named Ajiarra. The beasts here prove to be strong and I am forced to retreat to my boat for the long night ahead of me...
Day 2... Ajiarra and I head out in search of work but it seems no one is around.. Something is horribly wrong here. I now.. Hunger for.. Human flesh. I've been eating raw and rotten meats. I feel myself slipping away but I press on for Ajiarra's well being. My livestock.. Was.. Delicious..
