Take 15 - Epilogue

Taehyung loves snow.

He loves seeing the tiny flakes falling from the sky, hitting the ground , slowly filling up the streets. The fully covered children giggling and building snowmen with their tiny gloved hands is such a scene Taehyung can never grow tired of watching. He tends to spend his winter with his family, especially his siblings since he misses being one of those figures running around with hands filled with snowballs.

And not to mention ice creams —-- they taste a thousand times better in winter. The lingering taste of the cold creamy sweetness is enough to make him smile the whole day. There is no rush to quickly gobble up the ice cream since it relatively stays solid longer in winters, and the prices also drop and not to mention the shopkeeper loves him so much that he even gives it free to him sometimes.

But sometimes, when he is alone, like now, sitting on the balcony letting the cold wind run through his tanned legs, he misses his childhood. Winter makes him miss the times his old pet puppy would cling to him the whole day, his mom would sew mittens and he loved them so much that he would wear them in summer when he missed her in his school years.

And of course, his grandmother. Winter makes him miss his grandmother a lot. If he was with her right now, she would come with a warm smile on her sleepy face and tuck him inside a bunch of blankets and pillows. A small kiss on his forehead, and that was enough to make him fall asleep, waiting for the sunrise.

"So we decided to rent a car since none of us are awake enough to drive without getting us killed." Jin spoke, his eyes small as he was sprawled on the couch, with Jungkook and Jimin on the floor.

"Well in that case we can't go anywhere else, Jin hyung. How can the eight of us just spend a whole five days on the beach alone!" Daisy whined, lying on the dining table. Jin ignored her whining and continued "Since we are renting a car, we need to pay. And since we all are going, we all should pay. And since none of us will be in a state to calculate and divide the money, it's better if one of you can pay the whole amount."

Jimin grunted on the floor beside Jungkook "Me and Yoongi just saved up for the food and hotel rooms. Can't pay more." Jungkook who had his eyes closed and even a cushion under his head on the floor mumbled "I won't be able to take care of money because I will have to look out for Tae. He might freeze himself in the beach water while I'm paying for the car."

Jin groaned in sleepy annoyance "Then tell Taehyung to pay for the car. He will be awake capturing photos anyways." Jungkook was about to say that he and Taehyung have been sharing a wallet since they went shopping together but Daisy interrupted again from the table " I can pay only if you all rent the car for our whole trip."

Jungkook and Jimin protested sleepily by groaning, because they know very well that Daisy will somehow make them pay in the end, and won't ever slip a dollar out of her wallet because that's how she is. But nothing is more stubborn than a sleepy Jin who didn't think once before replying "Okay."

Jungkook knows Jin will regret it the moment he comes back to his senses and wakes up properly, so he lazily gets up and returns back to his apartment to take out some extra cash for the drive.

He lazily hums his way to his bedroom, and is about to jump off to the bed right beside Taehyung and drift off to dreamland but he fairly remembers sleeping with Taehyung , not his blanket. Jungkook doesn't even bother looking at the bathroom because he knows Taehyung won't be there, the elder would rather pee on his bedsheets rather than wake up in winter morning just to empty his bladder.

A lazy grin formed on his face when he spotted his love on the balcony, curled up on the soft bench which they bought a few days ago. He took slow steps towards the balcony, gritting his teeth at the chill of the winter wind.

He wasn't surprised to see the elder in his shorts, thinking it must be his stupid hack to get rid of his tanned legs. Jungkook is glad it doesn't work, he loves Taehyung's tanned legs. It gives off the soft, honey and warm vibe when they are having sex or kissing against the wall. Kissing Taehyung's body is like kissing a honeyed glory.

He walked up to the sleeping figure, gently tucking the soft body with a soft blanket which he bought from his bed, along with two pillows, one behind his head and the other in his grabby fisted hands. He took a moment to appreciate the calmness and beauty of his sleeping state before he leaned in, placing a delicate kiss on his forehead.

Right when he was about to leave, to get the money and finish some of their last minute packing, a small tug at his sweater sleeve made him stop, and look around. The adorable sleepy but open eyes of his boyfriend greeted him, along with a gentle smile. He took a few steps towards the tiny chair, and leaned down on the floor beside.

"Thought you would want to sleep some more." he spoke, voice still deep and a little hoarse from sleep. Taehyung smiled, more like the smile never left his face. "I wanted to watch the sunrise, but it's all gone." Jungkook smiled and placed a soft kiss on the fluffed up cheeks, " We can watch the sunrise everyday on the beach. We all discussed that all of us are going to spend some time alone on this trip."

Taehyung chuckled, " Yeah, apparently us not dating made the other couples not have any romantic vacations at all." Jungkook joined the soft laughter that followed. "We're gonna spend Jin hyung's birthday there, you got your gift right?"

Taehyung stretched his arms and legs, causing the blanket to fall and Jungkook was quick to place it back around his shoulders, not wanting the elder to catch a cold before their first ever trip as a couple.

"I got him a small little crystal fish, inside a crystal bowl." Taehyung mumbled, wanting to know about the younger's gift too. " I got this huge, really huge tuna shaped pillow online, and I guess I gotta give it to him after we come back since I can't just carry it around."

Taehyung giggled " No worries, we will find a way, we always do."

Jungkook smiled, before standing up and offering a hand to the elder " Come on, let's finish our packing. We have to be ready by 8." Taehyung whined as he stretched his arms again, "Can't you just do it alone since I am supposed to sleep?"

Jungkook pulled the elder by the hands, hearing another whine before they went inside the bedroom, turning on the room heater.

He could feel Taehyung's happiness as they kept discussing everything they were going to do together. They always watched the sunrise together before, went shopping, ran on the beach hand in hand, cuddled on the sand and Jungkook would run with Taehyung hanging on his back.

Nothing was new this time, except that now they are lovers exploring each other, not best friends making memories.

And that little excitement is enough to keep him awake all through the ride.

And for the rest of his trips with Taehyung too.
