Isabella's Point Of View

I got home from school today. Just like any Friday. I live in Maine. I am happy here! Nothing important is here, I was born here, deaf, and never moved so I go to the same school with basically the same people every year. They know I am deaf. Some don't care and are my friends and others ignore me and vise versa. I only "talk" to one person. My best friend, Charlie. Our parents grew up best friends. She even knows how to sign! She has crazy red hair that goes to her shoulders and is a 'walmart greeter,' where I 'talk' to the teachers and her, some times some other people, but not really any one else and have plain, boring black hair that goes to my hips.

Today was like any other day. That was, until I got home.I walked in the door. I go into the living room and see both of my parents. They should be at work.We start signing to each other.

"Why are you two home?" I asked.

"Honey, we got some important news." My mom starts off by signing.

"Okay. What is it?"

"Princess, I am opening a new store all around California . We have to move. So will Charlie's family. Her dad is going to help me run all the stores. We have to be there by Monday. We only have to pack this and your bedroom. Charlie's family will be there in a month or two. We already  have the stores set up and stocked, but I have to go to interview people and it will take a long time. So we decided that it would be better there than here so we are moving start packing. We will ship everything tomorrow and we will hire people to unload it and unpack it. Our new house will be set up by the time we get there Monday evening. You will get Tuesday off, but will start school Wednesday." My dad explains.

I nod my head and go upstairs to pack. I been some places close to Maine with my parents, but never California. I also have never been away from Charlie more than two weeks. I have never went to school without her. It was going to be hard.

When I finish packing I go to sleep. When I wake up the next day everything is gone, but my twin size bed that my parents told me will stay. They are getting a new kings size bed and so will I.

Monday comes fast and my new house is huge. Tuesday I was done unpacking and then  I fall asleep thinking about  school  tomorrow. I have my classes and all my teachers know, but I am not going to tell any of the students. No way!
