Temari and Shikamaru

"She's really back?!" I said.
"Yeah boy. You can literally see her." Choji said whilst patting me on the back.

What am I gonna do now.... I've anticipated her arrival for so long now, but now she's finally here.... I don't know what I will do.

I can't just ask her out in a date. She could have a boyfriend. I also wanna play it cool.

I though and though but this girl does things to me that I don't know. Its are for me to think knowing she was in the village.

"Erm .. Shikamaru. .  I have a plan that will benefit both of us.... But it will cost ya" choji said with a smug grin.

At first I was skeptical. But I looked over and caught eye if temari and felt my knees go weak.

"What ever it is. Just tell me"

"Here's the plan...if you walk past her. Really close. Don't say anything. Just go. And you will sit in the tea hut. And wait for me. Because you walked past her she will start thinking. Debating her every life choice!-"
"I doubt-"
"-shshshhshs! Just listen. Ahem. So two minutes later I say hi. Start small talk. Invite her for tea and cake. And boom! Its not a date. U get to speak to her and I get food you pay for!"

"Sounds like a good plan.... Wait I'm paying?!"

"I told you it will coat ya"

It was a good plan. Apart from the dry wallet. But If I was trying to get a girlfriend then I may as well get used to no money.

I agreed and we set foot. As we planned. I walked towards her. I was so close. As I walked past her our shoulders almost brushed. I cought a wiff of her sent. And as I stepped to feet away I heard her turn around.
It was so hard to fight the temptation to look back. And I continued walking to tea hut with her eyes on me.

I sat at a table and waited for the plan to take course.
Temari...
Temari Nara.
Another Nara lady.
Only I can make that happen.

What if It was the other way round?
Shikamaru... Wait. Whats her last name? Maybe that can be our conversation starter.

Augh, but it sounds stalker-ish. Am I being a stalker.

What should I say, this is such a drag.
Let's go over this.

So I'll say 'hey how are you?' Followed by a 'so where have you been, what have you been doing? 'And then..... And then what!
Oh why is she here !

"Hello" a voice spoke, disrupting my imaginary conversation with temari.

"Would you like to order?" It continued.
"Actually not yet... I'm waiting for someone"

The waiter simply nodded and walked away.

now i was waiting. alone with my thoughts... what was taking choji so long. 

ive always been alone with my thoughts... even when im with people. i usually find a lonliness that is followed by an emptiness that gets filled with thoughts.

"shikamaruuu!" a voice yelled from the other side of the tea room.

it was choji. he came over with temari by his side.i pretended not to see her yet. so i can pull that typical douche move,

"hay Choji! how are ya" i said grasping chojis hand and pulling him in for a man hug.

we exchanged small talk for minimal time when we pulled away. i looked over to temari.

"temari?...is that you?"

"yeah... hi shikamaru"

i walked over to her to give her a hug and i pulled away quickly so she didn't know i was fangirling over her sweet tropical scent i had caught a whiff of earlier.
