Temari and Shikamaru

home alone.

My mum came bursting in my room at 7am. Yelling and cursing.
"Get your ass up now boy. I told you to clean up yesterday And what did ya do? Went to eat. Little bitch. Get up now."

Its too early for my ears to be being filled with such hate.

She looked at me. There's was a lot of anger in her eyes. She slanted her hip and ralaxed her back on my door frame in an impatient yet sarcastic way.
"Today would be nice."
She complained, checking an invisible watch on her wrist to exaggerate the amount of time I was taking.

I sat up in bed. My mum tutted at me and slammed my door shut.

I got in the shower and I was half asleep, my head was resting on the tiled wall as the hot water hit my head , slowly waking me up as it rolled down my back. Loosing its warmth the farther it rolled.

I was in the shower but my thought where elsewhere. My thought where on one person and one person only.
Temari.
What I wouldn't do to be with her right now...
Wait.
I can.

She asked me to help clean her house didn't she ??

With that. I got out the shower and got dressed as quick as I could.

As I was walking towards The flats she is staying in, I thought I'd bring her a gift. What do girls like?

Flowers.
Now where am I gonna get a bouquet of flowers, neatly gift wrapped, at such short notice for cheap?

Knock knock knock

"Mrs Yamanaka?!" I called.
I knocked again, harder this time.
"Mrs Yamanaka, its shikamaru, I need some flowers quick."

The shutters opened. It was Ino.
"Shikamaru... Are you here again? Its a bit early for a fuc-"
"-noooo, haha I just need flowers. Nicely wrapped."

Ino stared at me with a look I had never seen before. Confusion.
"Who do you need flowers for?" She questioned as she led me inside.
"Ah. My... mums just... Really mad at me. I thought I'd make it up to her."
I lied through my teeth. I wasn't bout to tell her I fell head over heels for the other Blondie in town. She would kill me, and what would happen if temari didn't work out ? I'd be sexually fuatrated for the rest of my life.

"Awwwe, that's so unlike you."
She put a boquet of roses together and tied it together with a big flashy bow.

She handed it to me.
"Here. For free."
"Thanks Ino. You're a life saver." I said as I gave her a friendly forhead kiss over the counter.

I made my way quickly to temari's flat. I knocked the door three times and I heard slow, heavy footsteps coming from inside.

The door slowly opened and I hid the bouquet behind my back.

"Shika...maru?" She slurred. She looked like she had just woken up.
Now this is a morning look I could get used to.
Her hair was in a mess, her eyes where puffy, her lips where pouting slightly and her pyjamas... A pair of hot pants and a baggy shirt.

Wait, I recognise that shirt.
Its narutos.

My heart sank to the floor. Naruto? Off all the douches. Damn.
I'm surprised it's not sasuke.
She will be getting through the whole goddamn village at this rate.

"Shikamaru?" She questioned to see if I had just heard what she said.

"Huh...?" I replied. Lost for words.

"What's behind your back?"
I didn't want to give her them. But I did. "For you." I said. Putting my arm out to her but my head hung in dissapointment and embarrassment.
