it was storming. the rain hit the windows hard, the thunder was loud, and the lightning was bright and struck hard.
Daniel told me he was stuck at the studio which I was sad about because i wanted him here.
i like storms but this one was big and scared me a little.
i just wanted to cuddle with Daniel and watch movies until the storm passed.
i sat in the living room watching some tv show snuggled in blankets.
then there was a knock at the door. i sat there for a second wondering who was here.
i was home alone and my parents were out of town...
i got up and check to see who it was.
i saw Daniel holding a large bag with one hand and a umbrella in the other.
i quickly unlocked the door and let him inside. he closed the umbrella and set down the bag.
"I though you were stuck at the studio"
"well i wanted to surprise you"
"aww Danny you didn't have to"
"well i wanted to"
i smiled at him and hugged him.
he opened the bag and took out a bag full of candy and popcorn.
he then pulled out some soda. he grabbed it all and took it to the kitchen with me following.
"you want to have a stormy movie day?"
"I would love to danny, you practically read my mind" I said smiling.
"great" he said smiling back at me.
he put the popcorn in the microwave while I grabbed the soda and candy and brought it to the living room.
i grabbed some movies and laid them out.
Daniel came in and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.
i turned around to look at him and asked "what do you want to watch?"
he responded "how about a scary movie?"
"sure" I responded.
he went to get the popcorn while I put a movie in and got comfortable.
he set the popcorn down, sat down, wrapped his arm around my waist, and got comfortable.
i played the movie and snuggled into Daniel's side.
after a bowl of popcorn, some candy and 1 movie later we decided to check the news.
they said that the storm would probably last over night.
i sighed and said to Daniel "did you bring clothes incase?"
"you know me so well." he said smiling.
i got up and put in a new movie. i got back to my spot getting comfortable.
i looked up at Danny and said "I love you"
he smiled and responded "I love you too y/n"
he leaned down and planted a kiss on my forehead.
i smiled at him and snuggled closer to him.
i may not like the storm but as long as I have Daniel I'll be fine.
