Chapter 24

Hey guys...this is Imlie's inner monologue..and she deciding whether to keep Malini in their house..and chat of Malini and Aryan..

Imlie was standing by the window, thinking of all the life choices she has made till now..and in all honesty she knows that if she had told Malini the truth before hand..she wouldn't have faced majority of the problems.

But she was afraid of what the society will think of her?? Of hurting her mother more..or causing her more shame.

And maybe more than that she wasn't ready to accept that she too was betrayed in love like her mother.

But now the important question..should she really bring Malini here..knowing her vengeful state of mind..

Ma- You will take care of me..Imlie heard Malini's sound..

Im- I will..but do you really want to live here with me..it will only reopen your wounds..you need a place that is your own..without any past matters holding you captive.

Ma- Easy for you to say..you will just leave me all alone.

Im- No. I won't..i will help you..but staying here will do more harm than good..

Ma- Let us see..but if you break your promise..the first person i will kill would be Aryan..

Im- Keep him out of this..he has suffered enough..

Ma- Funny how everyone around you always suffer..

Im- I guess that is true..i know it doesn't mean much..but I am sorry..

Malini for a second looked sad..and whispered so low that Imlie didn't hear her..

Ma-(whispers) I am so tired..and then vanished...

Aryan on the other hand..received a call from the receptionist of the mental hospital where Malini was kept.

He went there and she helped him point to where Malini stays..and as she walked away..Aryan hid and slowly opened the door..and Malini..quickly reunited with her body..

Ar- We have to go..

Ma- Wait..she looked around and pressed the fire alarm..while everyone went towards the main exit..Malini led them to a back exit..

Ar- You know..if it wasn't for you being bad..you are actually smart..

Ma- I was but..a love for certain pathetic journalist destroyed me..

Ar- No..he is not just pathetic, he is an idiot..egotistical maniac..jisko sab uske naukar lagte hain..

Ma- Waise did Imlie tell you..she doesn't want me in your new home..

Ar- She doesn't..he asked surprised..as they hadn't had a discussion on this..

Ar- Where will you stay??

Ma- How would I know??

Ar- Well you can stay in the Rathore Foundation PG..you can start your healing process..and even teach little students so that you can gain your confidence back..

Ma- All things..kash mujhe tum jaise insaan phele mila hota..

Ar- Well agar aise hota..toh Imlie would have never given up on Aditya..Waise..even after knowing the truth..why did you stay..and it wasn't just to take revenge from Imlie..

Ma- Because i hate losing..i just couldn't digest the fact that my years of devotion and love was so easily sidelined..and because i didn't want to end up like my Mom..unloved and bitter..and yet i became that only.

Aryan remained silent..as he drove off with Malini..he sighed..one idiot's move destroyed so many lives..but he was grateful that they all were getting a second chance..
