Chapter 3

Kendall's P.O.V:

"I kinda live here. But what are you doing here?" Luke gave me a confused look.

"I live here too." I laughed.

"Who are you?" Mason asked from beside me. He was holding onto one of my hands and had the other one slightly in his mouth.

"My name's Luke. What's yours?" Luke nelt down to Mason's height.

"Mason. So, are you dating my sister?" Oh lord.

"Sadly, no we're not dating." Luke pouted.

Wait, what? I was about to ask him when someone called his name.

"Luke, come on! If we don't get home before my new shoes get here Jessie might try them on!" I looked over and saw a blonde girl with two other kids next to her.

"I think you're needed elsewhere." I laughed and he stood up.

We said our goodbyes and he got into the elevator with the other three. Okay, maybe I was slightly daydreaming while he left.

"Kendall, kendall!" Mason tugged at my onsie.

Wait, you were wearing a onsie the entire time? Oh my gosh you are so stupid! He saw you in a onsie!

"Kendall come on!" One more yell from Mason snapped me back to reality.

"Let's go Mason! Why are you just standing there?" I laughed while picking him up and yunning to the elevator, pressing the button for our floor.

"But I-And you-But....ugh! Girls!" He mumbled flabbergasted and I laughed even harder.

Third Person P.O.V:

After dinner with the Ross kids Jessie had come to find something strange not happening. So she went to Emma for help.

"Emma? Can I come in for a sec?" Jessie knocked on the teen's door. Emma opened it with a slightly annoyed look.

"No Jessie, you cannot borrow any of my shoes." Emma crossed her arms.

"This isn't about shoes." Jessie insisted.

"Fine." Emma groaned while opening the door. "What do you want?"

"Have you noticed anything strange with Luke lately? He hasn't hit on me all day. I mean, I like it, but I think he might be sick." Jessie said a little concerned.

"Now that you mention it. I think he might be crushing!" Emma started to become more and more excited by the second.

"Really? On who?" Jessie started to smile, thinking that she could finally get him off her trail.

"I've heard a couple things around school about her actually. Kendall Clinton. Rich, kinda feisty, always fights back, you wouldn't believe what she did at lunch today. It was so cool!" Emma gushed. But she stopped talking when her phone started ringing.

"What? What did she do?" Jessie asked frantically. Emma ignored her nanny's wishes and looked at her phone.

"Oh my gosh, it's the magazine call I've been waiting for. I'm sorry Jessie but I'll have to put you on hold." Emma held out her pointer finger to the frantic woman and accepted the call. "Hello?"

"What? You can't put me on hold!" Jessie almost yelled, really wanting to hear the rest of the story.

"Yes, give me a second please." Emma put down her phone and shoved the nanny, much to her dismay, out the door.
