Chapter 2

I walked downstairs and I was stopped by my mother.

"Where do ya think you're goin'?" She asked.

"To school, obviously." I replied.

"DON'T YOU SASS ME, SKYLER!" She yelled as she punched me in the eye.

I put my hand over my eye and walked out the door. I walked down the street to the bus stop and waited. The bus came but didn't stop for me. Kids opened their windows and threw wads of paper at me, then the bus left. Great, now I'm walking.

Just then a shiny pink Mercedes pulled up. Alayna was in it. Alayna was my only friend and very popular and pretty. I don't know how I'm friends with her.

"Like my new car?" She asked me. I nodded. She patted the passenger seat as a signal to get in. Thank God, I don't wanna walk 5 miles to school.

We arrived at the building and Alayna went off with her boyfriend, Nick, and left me alone. Then the bell rang. We all piled into the building and went to our lockers. I walked down the hall quietly to my locker. Then i felt a foot against my shin and realized i was about to be tripped but i was already falling. I landed on a popular girl, Lily, and she squealed.

"SKYLER TACKLED ME!!!!! OH MY GOD SKYLER WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?!?!?!" She cried.

The principle grabbed my arm and pulled me to her office. Then she called my mother. Shit.
