Hey guys! I hope you're having a great day/afternoon/night, wherever you are. You've probably noticed that the update schedule this month has been a bit slow/erratic—that's my fault. I've been dealing with some things, but nothing really serious, so don't worry. Still, you know I don't like to go without showing signs of life, So, to avoid going without posting anything., I've decided to share one of the drawings I've managed to do during the little free time I've had.
This time, I brought something featuring John and Daniel, with John without a beard to give an idea of how he looks, His face looks a bit too young, which I guess makes sense since he's still in his early twenties, but I'll work on studying how to make more 'chiseled' features? To add a bit of roughness (not sure how to explain it better) (though I'll probably keep drawing him with a beard in other pieces) and a more proper look at Daniel, who doesn't really have a good drawing yet (I need to make one). I thought about drawing him in his hero suit, but I ultimately decided to show his "casual" look and work a bit on his facial design. I feel like my style for drawing men still needs a lot of work, but I think I'm getting closer to what I'm aiming for.
I think John turned out a bit thinner than he actually is, though I'll justify it by saying that both have very similar body types and almost the same height. But honestly, that's a pretty weak excuse—the truth is that I still struggle a bit with drawing well-built male physiques, haha.
Well, with all that said, I look forward to your comments and suggestions. What do you think could be improved, added, or changed?
