LUCY'S P.O.V
"Lucy.... I have something important to tell you."

"What is it, Gray?"

"I've always had interest in you. Ever since I met you, I thought you were damn cute. You're a great celestial mage, and I've always thought of you more than a friend."

"Oh, Gray. I've always had interest in you too... I thought that when I would tell you my true feelings, you would reject me. I was afraid you would turn me down. But I'm so glad you feel the same way!" I smiled.
He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close to him. Our faces were just inches away from each other. I saw his soft lips almost touch mine. My face turned pink. He leaned in and we-
I suddenly woke up, and quickly sat up. My face felt like it was on fire.

"W-why was my dream like that? I shouldn't think of a teammate like that.. Ugh, snap out of it, Lucy!"
I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I started to run a bath. After I was done, I got dressed.

"I don't feel like going into the guild today.." I thought. "Maybe I'll just stay here for today..."

GRAY'S P.O.V.
She wasn't here. That's strange. I looked around the guild.

"Who are you looking for, Gray?" Cana asked me while she drank her alcohol.

"No one." I turned away.

"Well, Lucy's not here. You looking for her? She smirked. My face turned red.

"No Cana! I'm not looking for her. It's just weird that she's not here."

"Maybe you should go check up on her."
"Why? I'm pretty sure she's fine. Not that I'm worried or anything.."

Cana smiled.

"You should. She trusts you. You're her teammate. Besides, Natsu and Erza are on a mission. They won't be back until tomorrow." I sighed and stood up.

"Fine, I'll go check up on her.. I guess I don't have a choice."

"It is your choice. You're choosing to check up on her." She teased. I blushed lightly.

"Whatever." I headed out of the guild. "Worried about her? Come on. Sure, I care about her, but that's just because Lucy's my friend. Only a friend. A teammate. I'm only checking up on her, since that flame-brain isn't here." I thought. I walked up to her door and knocked.

"Lucy, it's me, Gray! Open up!

LUCY'S P.O.V.
I heard Gray's voice. What's he doing here? I felt my heart skip a beat and my face turned red.

"Stop thinking about that dream!" I thought loudly.

"Lucy! You in there?" Gray asked. I guess I have to face him. I got out of bed and headed towards the door and opened it.

"Hey Gray." I laughed nervously.

"Hey. Are you ok? You weren't at the guild today. And so I thought I would check up on you."
He took a step towards me. I stepped back.
He noticed I wasn't there and checked up on me? I blushed.

"I'm fine. I just didn't feel like going to the guild..." I looked down. I couldn't look at him. My face felt warm.

"Are you sick?" He said staring at me.

"N-no, no. I'm fine, really."

"Okay... Can I come in?" He asked.
I looked up. Why does he want to come in? Well, I guess I can enjoy some company.

"Yeah, sure." I said as I stepped aside. He took a seat on the couch.

"So, what were doing before I came?"

"Nothing really. Just staying in bed..." I said.

"Oh."

"Anything new happen at the guild? New missions?"

"Nope. Nothing."

"Oh." Ah, I don't what else to talk about. The atmosphere is heavy. I looked up at him.

He is pretty cute in a way. And I know that he cares about me. Gray always seem to help me in my time of need..

Ah! What am I thinking?! I blushed deeply. Gray glanced at me.

"Hey Lucy." I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Y-yeah?"

"I've been meaning to ask you something."
