Person Of Interest: The Struggle

Chapter 1: The Numbers

    A young girl named Tori Espinosa woke up in the morning, getting ready for her first day of middle school! Her brother Matthew came into her room to ask her if she wanted breakfast before he drives her to school. Tori replied to her brother,

    "No thanks, I'll get breakfast from school. Oh, and can I borrow $5 to buy breakfast? I'll pay you back." Matthew put his hand inside of his pocket and grabbed a $5 bill.

    "You don't have to pay me back." He shrugged and smiles, he then walked up to Tori and patted her head saying, "Race you to the car!" Than he ran down the stairs and Tori chased him screaming,

    "Matthew!!!!" They run outside and climb into his Blue Camaro and throw on their seat belts. A few minutes later, Matthew drops off Tori at school and she walks to her locker, putting her backpack inside. Her best friend Vanessa walked up to her and said nervously,

    "Let's head to our first class!" Tori nods as they walk into their classroom. Listening the teachers talk for 6 hours. After school, Tori goes to the bus platform to wait for her brother who is supposed to pick her up after school. Tori took her phone out of her pocket and called her brother, but no answer. She than decided that she would walk home, thinking that her brother was busy.

    While she was walking through New York, following the streets leading to her home. Occasionally she would see the same man in different spots thinking,

    "How do I see him so often?" She shrugged it off and turned down an alleyway, not realizing that it was scary looking, garbage on the floors, lights flickering, and dark. She just pushed forward trying to make it end as fast as possible. While she was walking she turned around and ran into someone standing in the middle of the alleyway.
