Chapter 2: 7 Second Challenge

~Flashback~

-Name the first person that comes into mind,who you love more than anything.-

Phil has been loving Dan since the first day he met him.He's always hoped and anticipated for Dan to feel the same way someday.So,he planned to ask that at the 7 Second Challenge and was very eager with a hint of curiosity at what he might answer with.

Came the radio show.The time Phil has been waiting for.A part of him was afraid that Dan would say another person.Someone who was well,not him.Felt a bit light headed,the ability to pass out seemed possible but a choice he'd rather not take.Veins filled with ice,freezing him in place at times.

Dan noticed Phil's uneasiness and asked him if he was alright.Phil said he was okay,Dan didn't believe it and knew something was bothering Phil.But respected Phil and gave him his distance and would ask him again when he felt more comfortable talking about it.

Phil took a deep shaky breath.

"Are you alright?"Dan asked,concerned and hoping the best.

"Yeah".Phil said,not to sure of himself.

He continued with the 7 Second Challenge.Then,he hit Dan with the question.Dan so immersed into the game,very competitive when it comes to pretty much lots of things,he answered it with no doubt.Not realizing what he just had said,til after.

"Dan,name the first person that comes into mind,who you love more than anything".Phil said chewing on his bottom lip with anxiety.Anticipated with what Dan might say.

Dan quickly spoke:"Phil".

He covered his mouth, muffled his little gasp.The little phrase oh my god repeated itself in his head, was this a dream?Am I dreaming?Phil pinched himself to reassure himself, its real.Vision began to blur as tears were building up.So high on love, felt like he was ontop of the world.Soaring ever so high,never gonna be brung down.

Dan,the boy he fell inlove with and still loves to this day just said that he feels the same way.That he loves Phil more than anything.Phil's heart sang with glee, beating to the rhythm of the song.The song called love, nothing could possibly make this day any more better.

He glanced at Dan who stood not to far from him, to be met with his beautiful brown eyes as he looked down quickly.Blushing ferociously as he felt everyones gaze on them.

Silence fell upon the radio station.Except for when this woman inthe station whispered with amazement."Phan is real".Dan and Phil were both blushing,and looking down at the ground.As if their very lives depended on it.The world dissolved around them.Nothing was more important than one another's company, the world could stare for as long as they feel like it.They could care less.

"Gay fags".Was muttered under one of the people's breath in the radio show.At that, Dan took no hesitation to say the following words."SHUT YOUR MOUTH YA TWAT, IF THAT BOTHERS YOU SO MUCH THEN TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!"

Veins filled with lava burning him from the inside, didn't know what was going to go down.Melting in his place as his Dan was headed towards him, muttering under his breath how judgmental and homophobic people can be.

Dan swiftly flashed a smirk towards the man, he looked like a madman.A hot one at that, Phil had to agree.Then put his hand to Phil's right cheek.Smashed his lips onto Phil, hard then softened his grip on him.At first he was shocked, then just melted under his grip and touch.Lips clashed with the other fighting for dominance.Broke apart in what seems like forever, breathless.He had forgotten to breathe.

The man stood quiet, along with everyone else.The lights from the radio station as the screens flashed BBC Radio1 in white letters.Phil couldn't get over the fact of what just happened, he giggled with bright red cheeks as his words left his pink lips.

"That was the most fun I've ever had".
Dan winked at Phil getting all quirky now, looks like someone is feeling flirty. "Thats just the preview my lion".

Dan just called him my lion.He giggled, adored how the words rolled off his mouth.Could honestly hear Dan speak all day, just loved his voice.Him.Though he mumbled at times, Phil didn't care.He loves his mumbling bear, so huggable.Also...did Dan just flirt with Phil?What could he mean by 'just the preview'?Oh Dan, he'll be the death of us all.

"Dan?"Phil broke the silence.
"Yes Phil?"His hand was still caressing Phil's flushed cheek, his thumb rubbing small soothing circles into his cheekbone.Phil who was smiling back at Dan,with a lump in his throat that barely let him speak.Heart beating out of his chest, words bottled up inside his head and left in nothing but puffs of breath.No words found inthose puffs.Words long lost forgotten.Lost in the beauty of Dan's eyes.

"I love you Phil".Dan whispered, with a shy lopsided smile.The words drifted off his lips like a sweet serenade, a boat sailing off to sea into the inner depths of Phil's mind.Wrapped itself like a ribbon around his heart.Squeezing it in a tight embrace of authentic love and happiness.

Their eyes remained interlocked with one another.Dan's beautiful brown eyes were captivated by Phil's unique blue green eyes.Both staring off into different worlds than this one.Lost in eachother's eyes.

Phil wrapped his arms around Dan, placed his hands delicately on his waist.The scent of Dan was sweet of almond and honey (their shampoo).Phil smelled sweetly of marshmallows, he was eating marshmallows not to long ago.

Dan intertwined their fingers together,he felt Phil's soft fragile hand in his.Warm to the touch.Nerves tingling, every inch of his body was just filled with adrenaline.Like a sugar rush, if love was a drug...he'd be overdosed by now.

After that day, everything changed.Their friendship no longer a "friendship" but a relationship.

Videos were soon filled with them being cute with each other: flirting, hugging, cuddling, the occasional stealing of kisses.Dan got another nickname, the "kiss thief".Since he'd always be robbing kisses from Phil.It's like they were just meant to be.Dan had found his ray of sunshine.

And they lived happily ever after,

But not for long.
