Chapter 39

Eren POV

The door swings open. Krista, Yimr, Hanji and Levi all walk in. Me and Hailey are sitting in the couch.

Krista notices Levi's daughter immediately. "Levi who's kid is this?" She asks "it's mine Krista. Her name is Hailey, she's a couple weeks old." I say. "I'm really impressed Levi." Yimr says. "About the baby?" Levi asks. "Yeah. And that you can drive with one arm and eye." She replies. "Oh, yeah me too." He says back. "Who's the mom Levi? I thought you and Eren loved each other." Krista says. It was out of character of her but it's a good question. "Mikasa was the mom. But she died." He says and looks at Hailey. "Sorry I asked." Krista says.

Everyone sits down.

"So why is everyone here?" I ask. "Eren can you take Hailey and put her to sleep she needs her nap." Levi says.

I get up and I carry her to my room. We need a crib and more baby stuff.

I lay down with her. She will only sleep if she thinks we go to sleep.

I can't hear what Levi and the girls are talking about but I know that they talking.

I close my eyes so Hailey sleeps.

Levi POV

"So I need you guys to lay low and not speak of what hat and what's going to happen." I say. They nod. "Hanji lets go." I say. We walk outside. "You take Erens car. I'll take mine and you follow me to the junk yard. I'll destroy my car and you drive us back here." I say.

We drive to the junk yard. I park my car and leave the keys inside. I cover the car in gasoline. Hanji gets out of the other car and sits in the hood. I light my cigarette and walk over and sit next to her. "What did you do to them?" Hanji asks me. "I killed them." I answer. "But why? You might go to jail and be killed for that!" She says. "Keep it down. I killed them because they were monsters." I say. " now let's go." I say.

I walk over to my car and flick the cigarette onto the hood. This causes the car to burst into flames.

We get in the car and drive back to the dorm.

Eren POV

I wake up. Everyone is in the living room.

I walk out to see them. "Everyone go back to your dorm or house and forget today happened.

Levi POV

Eren walks into the room after everyone leaves. "What happened?" He asks me. "Nothing." I answer. "Levi I know that's not true." He says. "Maybe. But I can't tell you." I reply. "Levi." He says. " I did what had to be done."
