The next day, I woke up feeling really refreshed and ready to take the test that I was more than ready for. I would finally be in Sixth Year next year, and that would be my last year of school. I could get a job, and go to college. Possibly even see the United States if I saved up enough money. The possibilities were endless.
I did my usual routine, and headed downstairs for breakfast. It was nothing special, just waffles. They reminded me of the blueberry waffles that I had the previous day, and I kept smiling out of the blue at nothing. My brother kept looking at me like I was some sort of freak, but I just ignored him.
"Why are you smiling so much, Paige?" Jacob asked me.
"Oh nothing, really. I want to get my summer test over with. Are you ready for yours?" I asked him back.
"No. I was up all night playing video games. I'm absolutely knackered. No way in hell I do this." He explained, yawning.
"Good luck with that!" I replied, laughing.
My mum drove me and Jacob to our school, and we got out of the car. As we were heading up the steps, we could see that people were already getting ready to go to their class for the testing. I said goodbye to Jacob, and headed towards my class.
All of the windows were opened, and I could hear birds chirping. It was such a lovely spring morning. It was unbelievably warm today, and I could barely focus on my summer test. I was one of the first ones to finished, and I drew a big heart on a piece of notebook paper, and filled it with the reasons I loved One Direction.
After I finished it, it was a few minutes before we were supposed to be dismissed from testing. We were let out early because everyone was finished. I jumped out of my seat, and breathed a sign of relief. It was finally summer.
I went out into the halls, and found Kayla next to her locker waiting for me. All she would do was ask me where I went after the concert two days ago. I didn't want to tell her because I wasn't sure if Niall and I were dating yet, and I didn't want anyone to know about me spending the day with One Direction. It would just cause drama and jealousy.
I went out into the sun, and started to walk home with a few of my friends, including Kayla. They talked about all of the guys in our school who they found to be drop-dead gorgeous, and I walked awkwardly next to them not saying a word. One of them, Jonah suddenly asked me a question, "Why are you so quiet, Paige. Surely you like one of the guys in our school?"
"Nah. They're not my type." I replied quickly.
"Oh come on, you must like someone! Is it James?" Jonah asked more, egging me on.
"No. I just don't like anyone." I said, hiding a smile.
"She likes Niall." Kayla, blurted out, "Oops."
"Someone she'll never get!" Hanna, another girl, yelled out.
"That's not true." I mumbled.
"Speak up so people can hear you." Jonah snapped back.
"That's not true." I said louder.
"He doesn't know you exist, you buffoon." Jonah roared.
They all just laughed. It was okay though.
I would prove them wrong.

I walked into my front door, and quickly pulled off my flip-flops. I climbed the upstairs quickly and grabbed my phone from my shorts.
I dialled Niall's number, but there was no answer.
"Come on Niall, pick up. It's only 15:23." I whispered into my phone.
