Who would have thought that the Demon of Envy, Leviathan, found peace by farming and fishing in a small village in Hawaii? No one would. The other Archdemons might end up laughing at him until hell freezes.

He wiped the sweat from his brows as he peered down at the sacks of potatoes and carrots he just harvested. Farming chained his physical body to commit havoc, and fishing in the middle of the sea kept his thoughts calm. Since then, it became his routine to fish in the morning and farm in the afternoon for a living.

"Excuse me!" A voice broke through his thoughts, playful yet bold. He looked up to see a lady, her hair dancing wildly in the wind, clutching a notebook and a pen.

She wore that ridiculous smile as she followed him from behind. "I know you said you were a demon, but I'm really interested in your story. Mind if I ask you a few questions?"

With an expressionless face, he turned his gaze on her. This woman is a harmless stalker. She had her eyes on him the moment Agatha saved him on the shore and kept on stalking him wherever he goes.

So, to feed her curiousity, he confronted her and admitted that he was a demon—a creature of envy and jealousy para lang layuan siya at hindi na abalahin.

She keeps on bugging him more since that day, introducing herself as Carol, a writer trying to find new materials for her novel.

"Yes, I'm a demon. But I'd rather focus on my harvests than entertain discussions about hell and damned souls," he replied, his irritation observable in his furrowed brows.

Her laughter rang out, bright and defiant. "Oh, come on! You're undeniably interesting! The whole 'demon of envy' thing while being a farmer and a fisherman is a one-of-a-kind character detail!"

Leviathan pressed his lips together, watching in disbelief as she stepped carelessly on the potatoes scattered across the ground. "You think my envious nature is something to romanticize? You're either incredibly brave or completely out of your mind."

Are all writers insane, just like her?

She shrugged, unfazed by his words. "But being envious is part of human nature! Besides, I think envy's beautiful—it's all about desire and longing, right?"

He shook his head in disbelief, his shovel digging into the earth with a firm thud. How could this mortal perceive his existence so naively, as if it were a fairy tale? Isa pa, she's a mere innocent mortal.

But instead, she believed him. "I just want to know!" She stepped closer, shading him against the sunlight while he crouched on the ground. "I just want to know what hell is like!"
